Spacious apartment. Lovely views over the valley.
The pool, sauna and steam room were closed and have been since March 2022. Despite it being advertised as open. I believe I was mis-sold this property by booking.com. Lots of unhappy people checking in with us. I will pursue this further as I paid for something that is not available.

the location is great, short walk up the road and you are in the mountains with the lake just across the road.
the apartment was really spacious with a huge balcony with views over the alps
the use of the pool after a day hike was great to relax

Hotel location
There was a problem with accommodation. Since we arrived in the evening, the reception was no longer working. They did not send us a code for the doors and keys by email in advance, the phone did not answer. We sat for 3 hours while getting help from random people.

It was well located and a bit of a family feel about it. the staff were absolutely lovely, and the pool and jacuzzi etc seemed fairly clean which was impressive
given the volume of traffic going through the place.
it was very basic, and incredibly over-priced for what it is. nothing was made and nothing was provided in terms of soap, dishwashing liquid, cleaning cloths etc. nothing. not even the beds were made, you had to do it all yourselves, which after a ten hour drive and paying the equivalent of €250 + per night was really beyond the pale.

i returned from France on Thursday leaving the two other guests in my group to checkout this morning. They have telephoned to say they are not very happy as they have been told to hoover and mop all of the apartment, clean all surfaces, clean the mirrors and bathroom etc etc plus strip the beds. Then they must take all laundry downstairs and put all rubbish out. Is this normal ? I thought i had booked a 4* Apartment / Hotel complex i did not expect to have to perform a deep clean when I left nor did i expect to have to make our own beds up when we arrived or strip them when we leave. Every other apartment and Air B&B I have ever stayed in I have never had to do any of this. The apartment was as clean and tidy as when i arrived it was not like we had 'Parties' in there.
I was planning on letting some issues about the stay go but now that this has happened i shall list them below:
1)We arrived no beds made we had to make up our own
2)When i arrived under the bed there was a bottle of sun lotion and it was filthy.
3)A constant drains smell from bathroom
4)Hot Tub cold every day
5) Door to Ski Room permanently locked, when i told reception(on the rare occasion someone was there) they went to look and said yes its broken i will get repair man..... it was still the same when i left which meant each day i had to carry ski boots skis etc up to my room.
6)WiFi never worked
All of the above we would have overlooked until the demands of this morning now i feel i need to inform you of the very poor service.
