I stayed in a king bedroom with an ocean view. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed hearing the birds singing and chirping in the morning along with the sounds of the waves. It was a perfect stay. Everyone on staff is warm, friendly, and offer excellent customer service. The hotel is also away from the liveliness and energy of the music and partying of the other lodgings, which I appreciate.

The restaurant food was a hit or miss. Nothing extraordinary and sometimes lacking in flavor. My stay included breakfast, but I opted out after 2 days. Instead, I just had had coffee and juice majority of the time I was there. I had breakfast in the small-town bakery which is a short walk from the beach. I had dinner the first evening at the hotel and although the fish was wonderful the side rice was so dry. This was just minor thing though.

The place is amazing.Beautiful scenery, the pool is small but nice and clean. The beach is awesome, it was like a private aisland for us. The staff made us feel welcome, we had a great time.

Good location, chill vibe.

The property is dated and needs a major overhaul. The "standard room" should be renamed to "small room" with just over a meter to spare on each side of the bed. Also no fridge is something I consider an issue in this price range. Overall not value for money, there are better properties nearby.

Beautiful view , Peaceful and quiet part of the Playa Venao. Very clean and very friendly Staffs. Will definitely stay here again.

The internet connection when we are in the room should be better.

It's a beautiful place and perfect to relax. The staff was friendly and there was not much people hanging around the pool. We felt very comfortable. The room was spacious enough, the bed is huge and the pillows are good. We also visited the center of Playa Venao. Eventhough you could walk over the beach, we were lazy and took the car. It's just a 3 minutes drive.

Despite that the place is not so old, we saw here and there what the salty air does to the material like window frame. It's something the hotel has to keep an eye on. But I see them cleaning every day and it was definitely clean.

Beautiful location. Amenities were lovely, friendly helpful staff. Big super comfy bed with good quality linens. Fluffy soft towels.

great location, front beach.. far enough from Selina/other bars to not hear the music.. but close enough to walk for dinners and drinks.

Perfect location directly at the beach, very tranquilly, easy accessible beach with calm waters. Friendly helpfull staff. Very nice food in the restaurant.

Hotel and room shows its age but bed and facilities were functional and comfortable. The music from Selina (10 minutes walk over the beach) does reach your the room and can be anoying if you are sensitive for it. Did not really bother us.

We really enjoyed the location, a bit outside of Venao which made it much more quiet as on one evening one place played extremely loud music. Also their pool and gardens are very beautiful, as well as the restaurant area. Great view. And great view also from our ocean view rooms, we enjoyed the hammock and terrace. The staff was nice. Also had a good massage in the wellness center Casa Vivu on site.

For the prize, the place and especially the rooms (ocean view on our case) seemed a bit run down and could do with some renovations. And also a bit more furniture, like maybe a chair inside where you can put your clothes. Also the light switch is on the other side of the room, not ideal. The food was good in general, only the waiting time veeeery long. Coffee was not good, which is a pity because Panama grows really good coffee. The staff was nice but could use some training. And the included breakfast wasn’t that great, we ordered a lot extra.

it’s a little removed from the rest of the hotels, which is nice if you want to avoid people but if you go there to dinner, walking back in the dark is intimidating. we had to drive back and forth at least in the evening to avoid that.

they did not clean up the room everyday, i was staying two nights, but for the rest excellent.

I loved the view, the staff, the casual atmosphere.

The proximity to the main hotel could be better.

Wonderful, quiet location away from the hassle but within walking distance of restaurants etc., great pool area and hammock on the balcony, super friendly staff. Highlight: baby turtles making their way to the ocean right in front of the hotel.

The view and staff are great. Loved the respect fpr loud noises and family.

Could be better mattress and bed.

Great location but the property is poorly maintained. The staff did the bare minimum to make our stay enjoyable.

The experience was not commensurate with the high end resort offered. We would not be inclined to return any time soon.

The location is why we went. We were not disappointed. The beach us beautiful with warm water. A small walk let's you watch the daily surfers. The pool are is clean and welcoming. The water is calming. The food is delicious.

I prefer a small refrigerator and microwave. I use a lot of ice water and there were no ice buckets or refridoration to keep my water cold through the night.

Location/view is great. Apartment feels like high quality.

Would have been nice to have a few bottles of water in the apartment.

The cleaner definitely stole my clothes that I left outside the suitcase, really annoying and disgusting 😠

Amazing location, more secluded from the other hotels on the beach. Great location for the sunset!

The room was a bit old

The beach and the breakfast. They comped one night because of the room change.

We booked a room with a view of the beach 3 months in advance and when we arrived to check in they had changed our room to one without windows that was very close to the dining area and adjoined to a room that you could here the occupants in very loudly. My credit card was billed for the room and we couldn’t cancel. It was fraud in my opinion because we were charged for a room that wasn’t the one seen on the webpage and never notified. Shady business but somehow not surprising.
