The host was very accommodating to our needs. The restaurant gave no need to find other places to eat.

The view and the staff

We loved everything about staying at Kambutaleko!! the view overlooking the Pacific, the hamacs next to our rooms, the delicious breakfasts and dinners, and drinks 😉. And of course the warm welcome and every day attentions of Jon and his team (including the old cat). A big thank you from Luca, Sylvie and the girls

the rooms were slightly small, but considering you spend your days out-of-doors, who cares!

The family (2 adults and 2 kids ) found the restaurant in Kambutaleko the best place we ate in Panama. You can add to it Jon's hospitality and great welcome and it all combines to perfect holidays.

Ion is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. He also makes wonderful food for supremely reasonable prices!

Location is a pretty big hike up a mountain - takes an in-shape coloradoan about 6 minutes.

John is exceptional host. Very welcoming and great with advice. The food is wonderful, one of the best dishes I had in Panama! Best Margarita in the world. WiFi is superior at all time! Great view!

The only window is the door. Shower can be a bit crazy with hot water, but at least there is Hot water ☺️

Cozy and beautiful place. Hammock outside the room on a spacious veranda looking out to the beach. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. Great food and facilities. Perfect little getaway.

The view! I was flabbergasting all my stayed because of it.

Clean small rooms with everything you need. The special thing about this accommodation is the spectacular view from your private garden/porch directly on the water. The staff is very friendly as well.

I cannot say enough positive things about my stay in this hotel. Amazing owner, delicious food, fantastic views and just a brilliant experience. The food there was the best I have had in the past few weeks of travelling, it was restaurant quality food for every meal.The owner Yion, was incredibly helpful; he and his partner drove me into the jungle one afternoon so that I could see more of the area.Gorgeous views from the deck and hammocks surrounding the property.Staying here was a real treat!!!

I loved everything about this place! This quaint 6-room hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the ocean at the end of the road through Cambutal. I’m a local and I can tell you from lots of eating experience that the onsite restaurant is one of the best on the Azuero peninsula. We had fresh ahi that was absolutely amazing and the breakfasts are healthy and delicious. I’m most thankful that the rooms and food are reasonably priced so I get to come back regularly. The owner goes over and above to ensure you are happy…and, in our case, he very much succeeded.

Just a tip...three of the six rooms have AC. If this is important to you, make sure you request one of them at booking.

owner is super nice & welcoming. makes me feel like home as I arrived. since Im vegan he offered stuff that wasn’t on the regular menu. location is super quiet up on the hill so you get the sea view from all around the property.
