The Appartment was just great. We had everything we needed. The beach was just around the corner with a nice beach bar. The family was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay

Everything about this accommodation was very seaside-like in the best possible way. Beach is extra close, main walking area with cafes and restaurants is walking distance and staff is more than lovely and helpful. Wish to thank you for morning coffee at the terase <3 :-)

Modern and clean studio apartment. Very good location - close to the beach and promenade. The staff spoke fluent English, which is a big plus.

The place is perfect. It is quite small, but this is exactly what you can expect with a studio apartment. Despite being small, it had everything we needed and a really nice terrace. The apartment was super clean and the location is perfect - just a couple of minutes from a great beach. The city centre is just 15min away by foot and it is a nice walk along the beach. The only minus was the fridge being a bit loud during the night, but once you fall asleep it is not a problem at all. :)

Quietness of the area, isolated from the more messy city center, which you can reach by taxi/Uber/bike very quickly. Also doable by foot if you don't mind the heat during summer. The close easy access by foot to a cute little beach (rocks, so bring some special shoes), which has few snacks and bars to relax, drink & eat for cheap without going in town. The cleanliness & cuteness of the flat, which is a welcoming view when discovering the place. All the things furnished (sheets, towels, toilet paper, kitchen paper, dishcloths, trash bags, dish soap, new sponge, dishes, pots, pans, a bit of coffee & tea, etc... Nothing to buy except food), which helped us to travel light and enjoy our stay right away. The friendly and super helpful hosts, the dad even came to collect us at the central bus station as we already had a long trip to reach Novalja. We really appreciated, especially as it was spontaneously offered as I was informing the host of my arrival time. The easy communication by Whatsapp and availability of the host. The awesome BBQ pre-prepared for us by the hosts (called to ask if we could use their BBQ in the garden before buying our meat and not only it was OK but they also prepared the fire, tools and special dishes for us to use as soon as we came back from our shopping). The little balcony with table, chairs + clothes hanger. An open view on the garden and wild nature next to the flat so it made our breakfast or reading outside very nice. Air conditioning working very well with many settings. Having our towels & bathroom floor mat renewed after 3 or 4 days without having to ask. The close little grocery shop open from 07:00 to 22:00 to avoid a ride in town. Being able to check out 1 hour later than planned (11:00 instead of 10:00) despite asking late the day before, thanks to an understanding and kind host. It was really a lovely stay. :)

Our flat was a studio, so the kitchenette was next to the bed and the fridge could be quite noisy while cooling down. Not ideal at night if you don't have or aren't used to earplugs. To counter this a bit, we got used to lower the temperature of the room before going to sleep so the fridge would struggle less to be cold + we kept the fridge temperature to the lowest all day: when it was time to sleep we were putting the setting of the fridge from 7 to 4 so it wouldn't work too much during the night. The pillows are a bit dense/hard. I had my neck bent too much too sleep correctly on them so I used the pillow case to fill it with my jacket and slept on it instead. It's really a matter of habits and personal taste. My boyfriend just kept his pillow and got used to it. Having regular back and neck pain I had to be more careful though. Not a big fan of having the air conditioning blowing just above us in the bed so maybe leaving a complete notice about all the settings would have been helpful. We're sure it was possible to switch it to only be a fan but we never managed to really understand all the settings haha ^ ^
