Excellent quality. I got the continental and my wife English breakfast, both were excellent quality, good portions and friendly service. The lady who checked us in and served breakfasts was very helpful and welcoming

shower is very powerful was hot water in the evening. but when wanting a shower in the morning it was very cold due to other rooms using all the hot water.

Spotlessly clean, amazing room with king size bed, great location, 5 minute walk into town, lovely hosts who accommodated us earlier than check in as we arrived early to spend the day in Bakewell and our room was already ready for us

We really enjoyed our first visit to Avenue House and didn't hesitate to book for the second time. We received a warm welcome, and our room was excellent. It was a generous size and exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfy too. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Everything was spot on and I know we'll be back.

Our room was large with a king size bed and nice ensuite. The room was also lovely and warm when it was cold outside. Breakfast was so substantial and delicious that we didn’t need to eat until evening. I can’t compliment the staff enough. So warm and welcoming and most helpful.

I found the taps in the shower difficult to regulate. I felt like I needed a lesson on what to do.

Excellent visit to Bakewell. A very nice and spacious room with a very good bed. Shower room ensuite was very good too. Room facilities tea, coffee, TV etc were all in good working order. Breakfast was ideal and set us up beautifully for the day. Happy to rcommend Avenue House to all visitors.

The breakfast was lovely with a full English plus a Derbyshire Oatcake (our first time to have one) which we then bought at the local butchers, we loved it so much!

A bit noisy at night

It has been decorated to an extremely high standard. Couldn't fault anything. Greeted by Georgia when we first got there and she was so friendly, explained everything. Room was absolutely beautiful and so clean. Breakfast was delicious clearly high quality food. Would definitely stay here again.

Had to wait a while at the front door to check in (we were 20 mins early). Don't think they could hear us knocking at the door. This didnt detract from the location/breakfast/cleanliness which were all excellent!

The property was very Peak District in itself, beautiful and ornate. The location was central to Bakewell, and had limited parking. The breakfast was fresh produce and freshly cooked to order.. fantastic breakfast. The rooms were very clean, warm and totally adequate for our needs... And, we would readily stay there again. Thank you

Not much really , but if I had to find something? I would say the TV needed tuning so there were more channels available. But not a major issue ( World Cup weekend)
