The caravan was lovely and modern and across from reception. It was spacious and right on the waters edge which was unexpected but a nice surprise. Our daughter enjoyed watching the people fishing and feeding the ducks in the evening. The caravan was well stocked with crockery and a nice touch of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits on arrival. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept really well. The beds were clean and the covers bright white. The site was quiet and well kept. All staff that we had contact with were friendly and pleasant.

The caravan was clean but not much effort had been put in to doing a deep clean between us and the previous family. The carpet really needed hoovering and there was a ‘dog’ smell as soon as we walked in. There was an air freshener in the caravan to try to combat this but as a family who don’t own pets we could still smell it. Had we known it was a caravan that pet owners could use we would probably have booked a different one. The shower in the bathroom had mould but with a scrub it could easy be washed off. None of this had a negative impact on our stay though and we would definitely stay on the site again without hesitation. It was also great value for money being a bank holiday weekend!

lack of WiFi

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy fishing! The lakes are so close to the accommodations and was clean, comfortable and warm!

The only things I would say needs improving at this property is: 1. WiFi as we couldn’t use the smart tv properly and log in to Netflix for example which was a downfall. 2. We ran out of toilet roll and there wasn’t any in the shop to buy as the shop is so small and doesn’t really sell food apart from sweets.

Better information to surrounding worthwhile attractions other than Skegness, which lets face it for the caliber of age group and customers to that lovely site is not everyone's cup of tea. Not wishing to spear snobbish or rude.

Lovely clean,warm caravan. Comfy beds and good quality linens on beds. Quiet site - we had come to “switch off”, again a bonus. Great location to lake. Good fishing - fish in good condition. We had some sunny days too! We will come again!! Thank you! 👍😃👍🐟👍☀️

Lovely location. Ideal for a peaceful break away from it all and not far from the seaside

Very clean and tidy. Finished to a nice standard and was close to the pier and beach.

We did like the play ground on site, however, my daughter was abit young and it could do with a few more things for her age, like swings and a slide but other than that we couldn’t fault it.

Everything !!! Lovely place. Not too crowded. Covid Safe. Very very neat and tidy. Close to amenities and beach just 3 miles away. Lovely people staying there. Everyone we crossed by, wished us and even my 7 year old daughter made new friend.

Everything was lovely. Though the only interaction with the staff apart from before arrival on phone was while leaving and handing back keys. I would still say, I can't fault anything. Just a suggestion, "please provide WiFi as Virgin and 3G didn't work for data well". Also, when someone sends query through booking.com messages, please respond back as I had no response for 2 of my messages and I had to then call up :)

We thought the whole site was brilliant and perfect for our needs.

There was nothing we didn’t like but it was a fair way to walk to the village for dinner. The location was superb.
