Its all about the view as others have said, elevated location with stunning sunsets/moon rises and sun on the terrace until late afternoon. The apartment is large as is the terrace with dining table and sun beds. Well equipped kitchen if you want to cook, hot shower, comfy beds, washing machine with quick programme in a cupboard on the side terrace. The drive up/down via Branco is not so bad if you are a competent driver, we had been in Sicily for two weeks prior to staying here, so the steep narrow road did not phase us at all, just take it slow and be prepared for 1st gear and clutch use on the way up😊. The walk up/down to the town is quite steep but if you are reasonably fit it isn't all that bad and you are quickly in the main streets of town and close to the Greek/Roman theatre. Walking up the same path takes you to Castelmola, this is pretty steep and will have you puffing but is well worth it, lovely little town, ancient streets and piazzas. Best views of Etna on a clear day. We did not meet the host Giuseppe but he is very communicative and available if you need, he will explain where to find the keys. Parking is a premium in Taormina and there is ample free parking at the apartment, right at the bottom of Via Branco when the road widens to plenty of space. Cheers Giuseppe.

Astonishing place

I liked everything more or less — frankly speaking, I disliked Position. in terms of the street and the route to arrive there (via branco), and the home that was beautiful but not comfortable (big) enough for eight people.

Without a doubt the terrace. It is big and has a beautiful panorama over the sea and hills. ( there is even a second one) The house has a big living space and well equiped kitchen as well.

The bathrooms were a bit small, but on the other hand there are two of them so that is convenient for a group of four.
