It was in the center of town. However, our room was in another building that was more updated.It was clean and very comfortable.

We liked staying in this hotel which is just in the center. Location is just great and the building is also impressive. One could visit various rooms in the hotel. When one asks, one can get a glutenfree bread, which is great. Staff is also very friendly and nice.

We firstly received a room in a different building which did not have just a historic spirit we expected from pics on booking. We changed the room and paid a bit more, but we could stay in the main building which had a more of historic feeling in the room.

It is no fault of the hotel that church bells ring on the hour and half hour every night. When we asked for a quieter room the staff were very kind and helpful moving us to the annexe where the only sound was the river.

This is such a delightful hotel with lovely staff, a very authentic Italian experience, I wish I could have stayed longer.

I accidentally booked the "Modern" building, so i got lift, no need to climb the stairs. Breakfast is great. Room has everything provided, from bedroom slippers to shower gel. I think no toothbrush, but i have my own.

Ok, alittle bit more expensive, since i dont really need alot of facilities. Great that they provided guests who stayed 2 nights minimum with free train/bus pass up to Ospizio Bernina. I did not use the swimming pool... i dont know if i am entitled to use it, since i was with the other modern building (the Dependence room). A little inconvenient, as the reception is in the other building, ok like 1-2 mins walk to next block of building. I think the mattress is not really firm enough for my liking. But all is good.

Very charming! Both the hotel and the dependence are beautifully-restored historic buildings in the center of the village. We stayed in the dependance, which is around the corner (next to the Hotel Suisse). The room was large and impeccably clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was and modern. There are common spaces on the second and third floor, which would come in handy for an extended stay (sort of like a lobby area). Breakfast was wonderful! We also had dinner in the hotel which was very good.

The double bed is just two twin beds pushed together, which is not unusual but should be noted. We came by train so I'm not sure where you would park if you came by car.

Everything was great.

we were put in a modern annexe when we had booked because it was an old historic building.

Beautifully modernised room, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Central location and far enough away from the church bells! Very warm welcome and lots of information provided. The Valposchiavo card was a huge bonus for unlimited travel on the trains between Tirano and Ospizio Bernina. (The local trains have windows which open to allow for photos unlike the Bernina Express) and also for a free boat trip on the beautiful Lago di Poschiavo as well as free entry to many local museums. Nice breakfast selection good coffee and prompt service. Excellent pizzas from the wood oven.

Only 2 things to mention- maybe a fan in the room in the absence of air conditioning, and a device to kill flies in the breakfast room

The breakfast was simple but just enough. I liked that there were gluten free options.

The staff are delightful; the hotel itself is indeed "historic" and wonderfully so. Location could not be better.

Wonderful setting in the mountains but also so interesting to be staying in a beautiful historic house. Food was excellent. A wonderful stay.

Fantastic welcome from friendly and helpful staff, in particular Valentina and Andrea. They showed guests the history of the building and went above and beyond in treating me since it happened to be my birthday. The hotel is located right in the town's square, so you couldn't ask for a better location. The history of the hotel is impressive and rooms are renovated and are better than it shows in the pictures. The breakfast was great and we also had a great dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

Some of the rooms (the modern ones) are located in a separate building. This is explained on the Hotel's website but not in Booking. It would be great if this could be adequately reflected in this platform.

Very friendly staff! Truely accomodating. This hotel was like a museum, there was even an original room from the 1600's! Fantastic and local food at the restaurant's hotel and beautiful bar with a fireplace also.
