Love the location, and the property and community are so nice and well maintained. The property is clean and comfortable and well furnished. The door garage opener available for use is also a definite plus! Would love to stay here again in the future.

My family loves to get out of the winter cold of Salt Lake and get to the beautiful red rock hiking trails of the St. George area. This house was perfect for my family. Its location provided just a short drive to all our hikes. The kitchen was well appointed for our cooking needs and there were many restaurants nearby as well. The community pool was amazing. There are more than enough beds for a larger group than ours. We would definitely stay at this property again!

We booked this house for a family Christmas trip to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and other state & national parks in the area. The house is a perfect location, and the house has everything a multi-generational family needs for a get together. We were close to St. George restaurants and grocery stores, so we could eat out or cook in as we wished. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve large family meals. Dog friendly - with dog dishes too! Plenty of bathrooms & showers. Quiet neighborhood.
We would love to come back & visit in the summer!

This house is perfect for a large family…it has 3 bunk beds in one room, and 2 other rooms with queen beds. There were night lights in the kids room and all over the house, all kinds of board games and puzzles that the kids enjoyed. Super close to the pool so it was easy to walk there ever day of our stay. Clean home and great amenities. Made our Utah trip comfortable, highly recommend staying here!

We loved all the appliances and cookware available. Vehicle wouldn’t fit garage. It was a little small but the house itself was great!

We’ve stayed twice in Desert Star and we love it. It’s quiet, conveniently located, has everything we need, clean, and the pool is nice and clean. It’s heated so my kids were swimming in 50 degree weather.

The property was excellent. It was clean and well-appointed. The attached garage made loading and unloading very easy. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever encountered in a vacation rental. It is in a very convenient location with easy access to Red Cliff National Conservation area, which has incredible hiking (e.g., Red Reef trail). The pool is heated and so my kids were out there swimming even though it was in the 40s in the morning. We had a great time here and no one wanted to come home.
One note: the unit has been updated since the photos with new couches and a rug. The air hockey was also removed from the bunk bed room.

We enjoyed staying at Zion’s Desert Star. The house was well equipped, well kept and clean. It was convenient to the interstate and the trips we took to go to Zion, Bryce, and Antelope Canyon. If we had longer there were lots of other things to see that looked interesting. The kids enjoyed the pool as well. They were bummed that the air hockey table was gone. We played one of the games from the game cabinet and would have liked to have played more games. It is a well stocked game cabinet. All in all, a great stay and we’d be happy to stay again if we were back in the area.

Amazing home!!
The location is so close to the freeway it was so convenient!! I loved the comfortable beds, the spacious area, and we loved using the BBQ and hot tub! Would definitely recommend staying here!

We came for a short family getaway, and had a great time. The home was in a great location - not far to shopping to fill the kitchen, or from outdoor fun. Our kids made great memories jumping off the cliffs at Sand Hollow, hiking to the low, mid AND high Emerald pools at Zion (they've been closed in past visits), and just relaxing at the house/pool. It was the perfectly situated home. Fun pool toys, fully equipped kitchen (EVERYTHING I needed for cooking was available). Thank you!

Family Getaway
We came for a short family getaway, and had a great time. The home was in a great location - not far to shopping to fill the kitchen, or from outdoor fun. Our kids made great memories jumping off the cliffs at Sand Hollow, hiking to the low, mid AND high Emerald pools at Zion (they've been closed in past visits), and just relaxing at the house/pool. It was the perfectly situated home. Fun pool toys, fully equipped kitchen (EVERYTHING I needed for cooking was available). Thank you!

Nice place and good location. I messaged them twice before arrival and had trouble getting a response. One of our showers didn’t work and they did respond quickly but promised a rebate that has not materialized.
