It feels new, the roomis quite spacious for Japan standards and it is clean as well. Walking distance to Hakata Station and Gion. Located in the quiet part of the neighbourhood but still easily accessible.

Room is small but not tiny by Japanese standards. Staff is friendly and facility is clean. If you don't want to be bothered with room service for a day or so, just leave out a "do not disturb" sign and staff will leave clean towels or what ever needed.

The bathroom had a moldy smell and it was not the most hygienic for Japan. I feel it was overpriced.

It's just a three minute walk from Hakata station and about 5-7 minutes from Gion subway station which makes it super easy to get around. The facilities were also very clean.

The hotel is within walking distance to Hakata train station where there is a lot of eateries and shops. I am appreciative that they kept my big luggage free of charge for a couple of days when I went away for a short trip, and then returned to the hotel to stay one more night.

The room is very small, comparing the price and room size I had in Tokyo and Osaka, Nest Hotel is far less value for money considering Fukuoka is a smaller city. I was asked to pay an additional JPY400 per night at check-in which the front desk staff said is tax, this is confusing because my reservation through Booking.com showed taxes has been included and paid for.

It’s only a short walk from the bus terminal where we came from.

The soundproofing was poor- we could hear people talking and the staff going about their cleaning(moving and knocking things around) and vacuuming. There was also no complimentary water in the rooms, which is quite sad. Those who don’t like to drink direct from tap will have to boil water or go buy some. The front of house didn’t really greet you and had long faces like they didn’t want to be there.

There is rubbish in the corner of the desktop in the room that has not been cleaned up.

I liked the location of the hotel and size of the room.

location is great , easy walk to Hakata station and canal city, even Tenji, many restaurants and cafe around staff is nice and helpful
