Does have a slight damp smell when entered but left when opened windows

The location to Winchester centre and property layout and its own parking space was most welcome if it not for the awful state of the road which had massive potholes full of water

quite tired internally, downstairs bathroom had a bad smell which is continually reported and needs fixed. wet room needs to have a mop or something to move the water as it runs to the toilet and the heating and boiler were troublesome and continuously needed reset. property also needs two keys as it is impossible to lock the front door and also leave a key in the drop box with a single key. also needs bigger bath towels and also more instructions, for the thermostats in particular. it wasn’t particularly clean on arrival. The road outside had massive potholes.

Location and quirky property, clean and off road parking

No hot water, unable to shower and wash hair, microwave not working and a smell from downstairs bathroom. Winchester Apartments management company and ignoring my calls to get compensated.

Sadly not up to standards - the smell coming from the downstairs bathroom was horrible and drifted around the apartment.

There was parking available

As soon as we walked into the house there was an unpleasant odour. It was coming from the downstairs ensuite. We were unable to use it as the smell was terrible and when the door was opened it drifted out into the bedroom and unfortunately that was the only warm room in the whole house. We were glad we were only booked in for one night.

Location was perfect for the city centre. Plenty of room for 4 adults.

Kitchen was not well equipped with utensils. Bathrooms smelt of drains.

the smell from the downstairs bathroom, but it got better on the second day the more we used the shower so we think just stagnant pipes, left a not to say you had to keep your hand on the kettle as the switch wouldn’t stay down.

Lovely accommodation, everything you needed was provided. Warm and cosy but very modern. Free parking space was brilliant. Very close to the city centre but in a quiet setting overlooking a park. Some nice walks from the door step.

Microwave/grill didn't work and we were depending on the microwave to sterilise baby bottles.

The House was very nice and comfortable

Bins wasn't emptied! The road outside is very bad big puddles big pot hole not owners fault!

There was an ensuite to each bedroom.

On arrival, we found the bins and the dishwasher full. The kettle was completely scaled up, the television in the living room and the microwave did not work. The ironing board was broken, the hob did not work properly. The shelves in the bathrooms were filthy. The downstairs bathroom smelt bad and the plug was broken. Your website mentions fruit and wine but there was none.

We were in Winchester for my daughter's birthday party and four of us stayed for two nights. The property is well located 15 minutes walk from central Winchester and yet there was off-road parking for one car and the location was quiet. The property was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished.

The ironing board was broken which we only discovered at the last minute when we needed to use it and the downstairs bathroom drains could do with a good clean out to alleviate a bit of a smell.

Dreadful smell of drains in one en suite. Sorted but a smell still remained, maybe coming from sink and shower plugs. No central heating for 24 hours. One electric fire we turned off as plug so hot. No instructions for equipment like cooker which was child locked until owner sorted it. Heated towel rails never worked so towels always damp - no radiators as underfloor heating. Kitchen sink plug does not work. Cigarette ends in pot on balcony.

Good location, two bedrooms with TV in each.

One bathroom very smelly of sewery, not possible to use it and all the bedroom was smelly as well once the door was opened. Few other things not working properly- coffee machine, ironing board etc.

It was a lovely property in a very good location. Really good to have some outside space to sit out in.

Sadly, we were overwhelmed with an awful smell the minute we opened the door on arrival. Looks like there is a major problem with drains/sewers? The downstairs bedroom and ensuite were particularly bad. As it was prepaid and just a short stay, we made sure we kept windows open while we were inside. Such a shame as it is really a nice and comfortable property!

Very nice kitchen and stylish living area.

Communication with the owners was minimal. I tried phoning several times when we had some troubles with locking the front door and used the message system here in Booking.com but no reply. Also, the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom was full of mold.

Location very good, close to the town but house is an an unmade-up private road after going down narrow streets lined with cars. Lots of pot holes to avoid.

Every time when you walk in the front door you are greeted by a poohy drains smell. The downstairs bedroom smelled of poohy drains smell too. This comes from the downstairs ensuite shower and wc which has lots of mould marks on the ceiling. The big top shower head does not work properly in either ensuite (just trickles). The ground floor ensuite wc takes 10 minutes to fill the cistern. There is no welcome pack, nor Visitors Book. A manual is only provided for the hob, so really annoying when you want to use something. The microwave does not work - we found a manual online, restarted it and set it up. However when you try to heat something it stops after a few seconds with Error Code E1007 which the manual says ring Neff after-sales service! The plug in the kitchen sink does not seal and there is no washing-up bowl. The recycling had not been cleared from the last occupier. The private road in which the house is located has residents permit parking. We had 2 cars so 1 had to be left in the road. I phoned the host number and left a message requesting a temporary permit to but no response. This could be a really good house to stay in but needs maintenance and TLC. The most disappointing house we have stayed in for years.

Lovely architectural design, lots of natural light but with privacy maintained. Many bathrooms. Mostly clean.

Road I’m front of house really bumpy and uneven for cars so just bear in mind

Location was exceptional being so close to the city centre yet so quiet and safe, plus a great pub round the corner and a gorgeous river side walk. Free parking was an absolute bonus! The property itself was quirky, cool, spacious, well equipped, comfy, safe, quiet, and clean.

The floors, sofas and dining chairs were a little dusty but honestly it’s a tiny matter that everything else outshone! Other than that it was pretty perfect!

Plenty of space and facilities, beautiful quirky home for short or long stays.

Unfortunately rough terrain leading to Cadamie

Location was great and a very pleasant walk into the centre of town. The apartment had good facilities which all worked, We used the dishwasher and the washing machine. It took us a bit of time to work out the electric hob because of the moveable knob which operated the hotplates but once we worked it out it was fine and instructions available.

The main issue was the smell of drains which was quite prominent in the downstairs bathroom. Not sure why this was and it was variable.
