Stunning location - view over the valley was magical. Room was very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and excellent hospitality!

Some travellers may not like that this is a private room in someone's house but it was fine for me. There wasn't any shower gel in the bathroom.

Stayed at Highview for one night as a halfway point back from Cornwall. We was not disappointed Rachel and Roy were great hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was modern, clean and comfortable we couldnt fault it. The village was in walking distance with pubs, cafes and shops. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and served with phenomenal views of a pictuque vally. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable bed, our room and en suite were of an excellent standard. Really appreciated having our own room key - felt very secure. Helpful hosts who really went the extra mile for us. Great breakfast. Front of the house unassuming, then the back of the house opens out to a beautiful valley view where breakfast is served in the morning.

No complaints - location suited us fine as we were driving. I'm not sure it would be so easy if you are reliant on public transport but our host was very helpful and drove us back into town when we needed to collect our car from the night before. Local taxi was also very helpful for this which our hosts linked us in with.

An excellent stay with friendly hosts. The room was comfortable, super clean and quiet, and the cooked breakfast was delicious.

Not sure there was a wifi available-couldn’t find any info in the room and didn’t feel like I wanted to bother the host at 9:30 to tell me whether there was any wifi & password. It wasn’t essential,so I just left it.

The room was of a vary high standard as was the breakfast. The views are exceptional

The hosts Rachel and Roy are amazing. Everything was excellent and no trouble. Will definitely return as some amazing walks round there. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of places nearby to eat

We stayed for 4 nights and it was great experience. It was great to meet Rachel and Roy and of course their two lovely dogs (Ruby and Billy). The house is in a very good and quiet location. Easy Parking. Every morning Rachel welcomed us with delicious breakfast for us to set off for the day. Good access to other adjacent villages and towns. We would not hesitate to recommend and come back again.

Our room was spotless, very comfortable, made particularly so by the air conditioning during our very warm stay. The star of the show however is the breakfast room which opens onto a beautiful terrace with fabulous views. Our host made us very welcome and comfortable, going above and beyond with an ice pack for my tender ankle. Just great!!!

Bedroom was spotless bed very conformable, windows blackout, , and bathroom was a great shower, Location with lovely views from garden,, walking distance down a big hill into local village, few nice pubs and restaurants, worth a visit, and 20mins nice walk, Breakfast was spot on and no grease, plenty of toast.

Small concern about parking, on arrival owner very kindly mover her car so I could park safe, Only ones staying at the time, Roads to B&B tight Rubbish in a trailer on the drive, first impressions, it was not what I thought,, its having building work getting done, good idea to mimimise, clutter. Apart from that brilliant

I was warmly greeted by Rachel who showed me to my beautiful room. Everything I needed was there including super comfortable bed, en suite shower room lots of little luxuries and plenty of space. Rachel's breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I never met with Roy as I arrived late and it was a midweek stay, but I'm sure he is just as lovely as Rachel. I would definitely recommend Highview as an exception B&B and I hope to visit again.

We booked the Highview B&B for a weekend getaway from London. Rachel was incredibly accommodating with our arrival times which we changed after staying longer at the Westonbirt Arboretum (which is beautiful in the fall) and was easy to reach for questions. On arrival we were able to choose a time for breakfast the next morning (full English with butcher-quality sausages, homemade marmalade, the fluffiest scrambled eggs and the most gorgeous view across the garden and the valley) and were shown to our room. Impeccably clean with the sort of white hotel bedding you can sink into, a rain shower with divine water pressure, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and so much more more made this a room I would have liked to stay in. 10 points for cleanliness, hospitality, and interior - cannot recommend this place enough.
