The location was safe, near to the sea, and ease of access to the main highway and airport.

The charges were in American dollars and not Belize dollars. Strangely, though, when the bill was given to me, the charges were converted to Belize dollars. Weird buy true. On my next visit I will enquire from the tourism ministry why this is so.

The location wasn’t bad.

That there wasn’t any complimentary water or coffee/tea during our stay. Then still having to clean up ourself after paying a cleaning fee. The lighting in the bathroom is too dim. It was hard to contact the hotel without working phone thats calls international.

The location was very convenient for going to the airport the next day. There is a large supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. Having a small kitchenette area with a microwave was convenient. There's a coffee maker but you need to get your own coffee if you want to make a cup. Check-in/out was easy. The host, Amanda, was extremely responsive to my questions.

The room we were in felt very crowded. Not much space to move around.

Very welcoming and helpful in arranging a diving trtip. Very good location as convenient to restaurants and walking around.

The high-rise unit was a great view, and it was cooler since the sea breeze winds were evident. The unit was well equipped for the family social needs.

From the simple act of obtaining the keys from an employee in the a/c shop downstairs, it was pretty easy. I’m thankful to have had a unit with windows facing the back of the building because Chetumal St can get quite loud and dusty with all the trucks rumbling through to get to the port and the George Price (Western) Hwy. The a/c was interesting because you couldn’t use two at the same time it seemed. The bedroom a/c worked well, the main room one just blew air. It would have been nice to have had some oscillating fans in the unit. I honestly could have stayed longer and would have rented the place if I needed to. The roof deck is breezy but not necessarily beautiful. But if you’ve got some drinks and good company, you’re set. I’d def rent from here again.

The flat was well layed out and clean. There was a roach in the bathroom which is why she only got 4 for cleanliness. It was spacious and the TV worked well as did the aircon in the bedroom.

The bed is very noisy. Cheap linen and horrible pillows. So that messed everything else up for me. Had a terrible night sleep. Location on a busy toad to boot with howling dogs next door nailed the coffin shut. I won't be back.

The room was very large and clean. The bed was also super comfy, which was great after a long day of travel. The hosts were extremely helpful - they arranged for airport pickup and even found someone to drive us to the piers to take the ferry.

This place is good to get if you have a car. It's not very central, which makes getting around by foot hard. We should have looked more into this. But honestly, the hosts were so helpful in arranging rides for us that it all worked out.

Great house for two couples was very comfortable. It offers what it says, good if you have a car and want something outside the town to relax.

There were a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and it was a bit far from town or water taxis so you need about 30-40blz to get there. The one balconydoor was not locking but ok we felt really safe anyway.

I chose the penthouse rental. So if you reserved it, this review is for your convenience. I arrived late at night. It was very kind of the host to leave the keys in a place that was easy for me to find. I felt right at home and I slept soundly. I was able to use the washing machine in the morning and the wifi was very stable. I had privacy, peace and quiet. Not much in the morning because near the house is a meeting place for some of the locals, so you'll hear some loud banter. But it stops after about an hour or an hour and a half. A great breeze blew into the rental while I left the door open during the day, so I didn't need to use the air conditioner, nor the ceiling fan. Also, there is a second gated door, for which I received the Key. So I actually had the whole top floor with the roof to myself. At night, you will her some rustling sounds near the door. Please do not worry: There is a tall Palm tree whose leaves brush up against the terrace near your door as the wind blows. It's almost like having a quiet companion that occasionally reminds you of its presence. I found the tree to be a very charming part of the habitation. I definitely recommend this place for travelers, especially for solo female travelers and couples. It's very safe and the host is very kind. Our brief conversation was so casual, light, and warm, it felt like I've always know her, or like she's always been a part of my family. I wish I stayed longer. I'll definitely return.
