Vermont Lake Front Log Cabin Close to Mt. Snow
Personnellement, j'ai construit cette magnifique maison de bois artisanal en 1998. Il dispose de plus de 500 pieds de façade sur le magnifique et paisible lac Sadawga, dans la ville de Whitingham, sur un terrain de huit acres au bout d'un chemin de terre privé long d'un demi-mille. Porche couvert de deux côtés, grille de gaz, table avec chaises et balançoire pour se détendre et profiter de la vue sur le lac. Il y a quatre kayaks pour votre usage. Grande pêche, randonnée, kayak, et la paix et la tranquillité que nous méritons tous.
À l'intérieur de la cabine, il y a une cheminée en pierre de taille dans le salon spacieux et ultra confortable, magnifique planchers de cerisier et d'érable fabriqués à la main à partir des arbres de ma propriété, cuisine complète et salle de bain, et une chambre avec une reine et deux lits jumeaux des lits. Loft chambre principale avec bain à remous, lit king size et demi-bain.
TV par satellite dans le salon et la chambre en mezzanine.
À l'intérieur, vous trouverez deux ensembles de portes françaises à trois battants dans le salon qui vous offrent une vue magnifique sur le lac et les montagnes environnantes.
La vie privée abonde à la fin du chemin de terre, la maison est entourée de bois et d'eau.
Pour vos sports d'hiver, nous sommes à moins de 30 minutes de l'excellent ski à Mt Snow, et nous avons un accès direct au système de sentiers de motoneige VAST, juste à côté de la propriété.

We recently stayed at this charming cabin for a weekend getaway to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and it was perfect! The location on Sadawga Lake in Whitingham, Vermont is precisely what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet, with stunning lake views. We spent countless hours relaxing in the screened-in gazebo, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery without worrying about bugs. The lake is great to explore by kayak, provided by the host, with minimal traffic, a manageable size, and a floating island.
If you're looking for a romantic escape or a quiet retreat, this cabin is perfect. We can't wait to come back again!

This place was magical! Great quiet location. The house had all the amenities you could ask for to stay comfortably. The host was great to communicate with and to make check in and check out smooth. Will be returning soon!

From the moment we arrived we felt the magic. So peaceful we didn’t make it past the rocker on the porch and just sat and soaked in the sun and the breeze and the beautiful lake. Bob the builder picked the perfect spot. We then headed out on the kayaks for a delightful spin around the lake back in time to barbecue and eat appetizers and watch the sunset. Cozy by the fire for dinner and then movie night in the loft….next day sunrise paddle then breakfast on the porch and hiking and exploring the nature preserve and catamounts trails from Harriman to some rest. Some dricing arounf and back fro another enchanted evening. This morning s paddle in among the floating islands rewarded us with cranberries and then over th the preserve where we saw an eagle fishing….truly magical. Cant wait to come back!!! Winter Getaway
Fantastic! We were looking for someplace to get away from the hustle of everyday life and just relax for the weekend. I told Bob I was looking for a place to light a fire and read a book. He said this was the spot. What an understatement! I did light the fireplace but never got to the book. This place is magical, spent an entire day looking out the window at the frozen pond, wilderness and ice fisherman. Bob is a great host, he truly made us feel at home.

Home was spectacular, felt right at home. Host was fantastic, made us feel welcome. Location great, quiet yet easily accessible. Girls Weekend at the Lake
We went for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and like other reviewers have said - the pictures do not do it justice. Bob was a pleasure to work with and was available and accommodating. We spent a day on the lake floating, kayaking and swimming and made s'mores by the fire at night. There is a screened in gazebo which we used to keep our food in while we hung out by the lake. Super convenient for keeping bugs away. We went into town for dinner one night and it was quaint. Not a bustling nightlife but this is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Looking forward to coming back with my family this time and seeing if we can catch some nice fish!

Relaxing and peaceful
We had such a great stay here. The location is the BEST. So private, you can't see any other houses unless you go down to the shore. Sitting on the porch in the hammock swing was quiet and tranquil. We loved using the firepit down by the water, the kayaks with paddles and life vests, and the gas grill on the porch. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house is so comfortable and clean. With the AC we stayed nice and cool even during some very hot and muggy weather. One of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in!

Beautiful lakefront log cabin - perfect for weekend getaway
My wife and I stayed at Bob's cabin for her birthday weekend. We found the place to be amazing. The online pictures do not do it justice and it exceeded our expectations. The house was extremely clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch looking out at the lake, kayaking, fishing, grilling, hiking and birding. The location is perfect as it is private/secluded but close to restaurants in Wilmington and plenty of places to hike. We can't wait to come back in the future. Thanks Bob for everything.

A wonderful getaway!

Our family of three spend two amazing nights in the cabin. The pictures on the website do not do justice to how beautiful the property is. Beautiful log home with gorgeous views of the lake. The home is absolutely stunning with a wood burning fire place. It was prefect for the cold winter nights. There is a hill on the property prefect for sledding. My family had the best weekend. Can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful, private and outstanding log cabin! We awakened our first morning to a winter wonderland and how magical it was for my husband and I, w/ ourselves loving snow.We walked the very private property, sat by the continuously burning fireplace ( don't ever put in an insert), coffee on the deck and enjoyed some much welcomed downtime.
