Its place in the harbour

This was the third stay over a number of years - we are Danish, but live in France - and nothing much seems to have happened; even more old-fashioned than before, shower in the bath (hard for someone who has knee and back problems), no aircon (it was in the upper 20th C), couldn’t keep the bathroom door open etc. And they could have informed us in advance that the dining room was shut because of a private party.k

Super convenient location right near to the Stena terminal. Breakfast was really good too.

Compared to Scandic where I stayed in Gothenburg the night before (for the same price), just felt very overpriced. Bathrooms were dated, bed was very uncomfortable. Sweated in the room all night and didn't sleep well. Whole building desperately in need of a refurbishment for the price.

Breakfast was rather normal. I did not have a pleasant surprise. I had hoped for a Scandinavian breakfast.

I found it quite expensive for what was offered.

Beds were comfortable and room was big

Room didn’t have hot water. Also breakfast didn’t have a lot of choices.

I think fits of all before we move to breakfast, that the room was refurbished and fine but not the bathroom. It was humid if not directly mouldy. At night it was noise from the harbor ( by the way we didn’t book a Sea view” but we’ve got it. Breakfast was fine as it was the view from the top floor.

Standard of the bathroom. And then I would prefer the town view.

Breakfast was ok but without any fresh fruits. Definitely not the best part of the stay. The view from the restaurant was really good.

The staff was very unfriendly when I checked in and requested to bring my bicycle to the room… they argued that it was dirty when it was not and they didn’t let me bring it in to the room and also didn’t let me cancel the reservation either to find a hotel where I could bring my bicycle with me… it was a very bad experience and I will definitely never come back… on top the room was dirty and very old with damages everywhere

Nice location of the restaurant and the bar at the back

Double bed at 150cm , mini bar not working, no cleaning, room made upfor 1 -towels etc.at an very expensive price. Reception staff comig to room to shown it was written on the website in small letters that the bed was «small». Breakfast had a very limited selection and the juices were diluted.

I liked the closeness to ferry and nice restaurants, family room available, parking area available

bathroom too small. mattress too soft and very old.

The underground parking had leaking roof and after a rainfall the car got tainted with concrete/paint which does not easily come off. It is clearly a problem which has been there for some time, so I wonder why it ha not been resolved or the parking area closed off.

the property has a nice location.
