作为兰卡威岛上非常老牌的度假型酒店, 通俗点说就是躺尸型酒店, 体验还是非常好的. 酒店的私属沙滩很不错! 除了出行有一点点不方便. 但我是自驾所以感觉也还好, 只是需要一点熟练的驾驶技巧, 山路曲曲弯弯, 而且经常有猴子出没. 酒店门口就是著名的天空之桥. 几分钟步行就到. 房子分为水上型 和 丛林阁楼, 我住的是丛林阁楼. 两间的联通房. 因为酒店在山脚下, 面积很大但起伏很大, 所以去所有的地方都有电瓶车接送. 欢迎水果品质很好, minibar 每日补充一次, 免费! 酒店的每个餐厅都不错. 价格肯定比外面小贵, 但也可以接受.

毕竟是20年的老酒店了,虽然重新装修过, 当年绝对是优秀的, 但现在看来有点老旧. 有的房间地板变形, 走起来噪音很大, 嘎吱嘎吱响.

THE good point is the very good/place/situation for the beach and infrastructures/chalets in the forest Next to the skybridge, the falls and the « food village » Shuttles are easy to go to your chalet

The food/restaurant is very simple and common and the time to wait for lunch (45/60 minutes) to be served is not acceptable The breakfast is various and common compared to all the places visited in Malaysia… and you wait to be seated if you go after 9:30 AM The infrastructures need to be modernised

- Booking the half board option was great, as there is an option of trying the restaurants not only the buffet and the restaurants are good and also its a good break from getting bored of the buffet. - They are always cleaning the beach from wave debris and shells which makes it convinient and safe for us and children - The cleaning staff were so great and always arranged the room and cleaned it, they even arranged the bears to sleep in bed. - Restaurant buffet fast seating and amazing staff, friendly and supportive with a child, food variety at the breakfast buffet is amazing and of excellent quality - hotel design in the nature feels so jungle like and makes it an amazing experience inside the jungle with friendly monkeys around. - Manager Uvarajah was amazing and tried as much as he could to help us with everything there.

- clinic is not available 24/7, my thermometer broke down and had to wait till morning to check my baby's temperature as they could not be resourseful and open the clinic just to get the thermometer. - service is too slow and they are understaffed for a fully booked hotel. - by the pool it is a mess, it takes ages to get the food and the order comes everyday with a different side, moreover the food quality is one day good the other day very bad, there is only 2 staff working there and no one to clean the trash around which attracts so many red ants, you have to eat so fast so they dont attack the food. - they have a buggy service to manage the climbing situation of so many stairs but this service you have to wait for it and it will only take you to the lobby where you have to climb to the restaurant, pool and beach and also up to your rooms, might be a difficult situation for someone with babies or crawling todlers. - At the restaurtant one day we were told that all view tables are booked even though the buffet just opened, when we wanted to book they said if someone comes earlier they will take the table, so it felt as if there is a special treatment for some guests and others no. - sometimes you will see others ordering something not on the menu and the staff will refrain from telling you how this is ordered. - The pool area and beach area set up is small for the amount of guests when the hotel is full as you wont find sunbeds to sit on.

La plage n’était pas exceptionnelle… eau trouble , pas la plage paradisiaque qu’on pouvait espérer. Le mauvais temps n’a pas aidé Un peu l’usine . Immense , buffets gigantesque , passez votre pas si vous cherchez plus d’intimité . Et surtout , besoin de prendre le mini bus pour aller à la plage, au restau… pas top

Amazing location and the staff are super friendly. Stayed at over the water chalet which was a really nice experience, the interior of chalets might need to be refurbished but all in all everything was good.

Beautiful location, the Thai restaurant on the water was amazing both location and the food. Beach is just lovely the water warm and clear. Breakfast was amazing, couldn’t want a better choice of food.

The resort itself is nice.

-One pool only and filled with kids, although there’s a kids pool. -Socket by the bed wasnt working. -Wifi wouldnt connect to the TV. -The room didnt have an iron. -The linen and textiles were bad quality. -No one answers the phone. -Restaurants dont answer the phone either. -They charged us for drinks that we were entitled for only because we ordered them 10min before the happy hour. -Staff was the worst thing about the stay. They were slow, unprofessional, inconsiderate, unhelpful and just overall difficult to deal with!

Mr. UVA the front desk manager is adding great value.

The place had almost everything and its quite beautiful, loved to see the Black monkeys and the food was quite good(save the coffee I purchased by the lobby bar). Getting around was fast thanks to the cart service and breakfast was great with all sorts of food.

The room(3245) had a open space by the window on the balcony side and some insects made their way inside (had a very big black wasp on the room) + aircon not maintaining the temperature. Drank some coffee on the lobby bar that didn't sit quite well, probably the milk wasn't on the best condition.

The beds were so hard! There was only one staff member working at the pool bar so it took a look time waiting for a drink

Sehr schöne Anlage zum Teil am Wasser, zum Teil im Urwald, sehr weitläufig, was jedoch mit den rund um die Uhr stehenden Elektroshuttle kein Problem war. Toller Strand, guter Service, große Auswahl in den 4 Restaurants. Exotische Tiere hautnah!

Resort located close to the forest and 500m from the cable car, sky bridge. Nice swimming pool and beach for kids.

They have a kids club, however, the schedule activities seemed too limited to be able to enjoy the full service.

Wir waren über Weihnachten im Berjaya Resort. Anlage ist sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Etliche Tiere sind hier unterwegs und können beobachtet werden. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit überaus freundlich. Wenn man an den richtigen „Manager“ gerät, werden Wünsche und Problem sofort und ganz hands-on gelöst (anderenfalls wird viel telefoniert). Das Frühstück in der Beach Brasserie ist sehr vielfältig mit tollem Blick (mit Glück laufen auch ein paar Otter vorbei). Das Essen im Thai Restaurant hat uns leider gar nicht überzeugt. Aufgrund der Lage ist man jedoch mehr oder weniger gezwungen im Resort zu essen. Wir hatten ein Rainforest Chalet was wir toll fanden. Die Mini-Bar wird täglich gefüllt und ist inklusive. Obst gibt’s es leider nur bei Check-In. Leider haben wir es bis zuletzt nicht geschafft, dass unsere Handtücher gewechselt werden - es gibt ein Schild, das man auf das Bett legen soll … dieses wurde täglich beiseite gelegt, ohne dass die Handtücher gewechselt wurden. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde telefoniert … Am Strand gab es immer ausreichend freie Liegen und wir empfanden ihn als sauber.

The Night Nature Walk guide Mr Ikram is simply wonderful. Not only was he knowledgeable, he knew almost exactly where all the night creatures were. I truly enjoyed the night walk mainly because of his good guidance!

The resort is very old for the high price we paid. The room looked very dated. Way past time for a total renovation.

Beautiful location, fabulous Pool area, beachfront location, plenty of dining choices, lovely spacious rooms. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice. Free shuttle bus around the resort.

Parts of the resort and the Rooms are a bit dated and could do with some updating.

Excellent location, on beautiful secluded beach, great for swimming. The resort was quiet when I was there, so plenty of space and friendly, helpful staff always on hand. Very close to good attractions, cable car, waterfall & sky bridge and front desk helps to organise other visits. The wildlife on show is great too, and I would recommend the guided nature trail through the grounds. Prices are reasonable, Thai restaurant excellent, others nicely located, plenty of choice and fairly priced. Room had all I needed and a unique feel, set among the rainforest. All I was looking for in a 5 day break really.

During an electrical storm, I had a couple of power cuts, but help came out quickly in the middle of the night to fix.

Very nice resort where you feel like you are staying in the jungle. The chalets look a bit older when you see them from the outside, but they are very well maintained on the inside. Nice and cosy interior, clean. The bathroom in the cottage was modern and clean. If you sit on the balcony you sometimes can see tropical birds and monkeys, it was really cool. The main building with the lobby, bar and restaurant also look a bit older, but it's well maintained too. The restaurants are fine, some tasty options on the menu, especially the beef burger! Breakfast was good, a lot of choices. The hotel staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at the resort, i would definitely return to stay there again!
