The property was incredible! So spacious and clean, and in an incredible location. We loved the fully loaded kitchen, as we cooked several big meals used the kitchen and living room as our central gathering space. The host provided a tour and made us feel very welcomed!

We stayed 2 nights and the property was perfect! I wish we were staying longer but we were in town for a wedding. Several families fit comfortably, it was well appointed and beautiful! Owners were a pleasure! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area again!

This house was beautiful with a space for everything. Highlights include wild deer on the road, reading on the dock, and relaxing on the screened in porch. So peaceful and still a 5 min ride to UNC/ Chapel Hill. Awesome!

Our group was back for the second year in a row! We will make it an annual trip for the game and at this property! Great place and hosts!!

What an amazing home! Stayed with my entire family at this gorgeous lakefront property for my son's graduation from UNC! The home was perfectly appointed with every comfort possible, fantastic lake views, and amazingly luxurious beds! The entire house was SO pristinely clean! I'm hoping to get back to Chapel Hill again so just so I can stay here and enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is huge, with lots of amenities. The weather wasn’t great so we weren’t able to enjoy the firepit and kayaks and paddleboards but hope to come back again in warmer weather. Rooms are spacious with beautiful views.

Great place for us to get together for the rivalry basketball weekend. House Is beautiful and definitely as advertised! Will definitely stay again in the future.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving with family: loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and the (huge!) games room was a big hit. Just one word of warning - the house is on three levels, so if anyone in your party has trouble with stairs, bear that in mind. Already sad that this place is not available for our next scheduled trip to Chapel Hill!

Luxurious- glorious lake views, luxurious bedding-towels-robes-slippers, extra little touches, abundant room for all 11 family members, plenty of family competition for the games and the remote, and down time with s’mores by the fire pit. Exceeded expectations and helped make our stay memorable.

Gorgeous home and accommodations- Great space for a large group in a beautiful location in Chapel Hill. Communication with the owners was clear and prompt - very receptive and easy to contact. Highly recommend!!

This is a perfect home and location for a multi family holiday. The setting and home have something for everyone.

We stayed here while in town to attend our daughter’s graduation from Duke. The house was very spacious, plenty of room for the entire family. Sherry was very responsive and easy to work with.

We spent a lot of the weekend on the course, but being able to come back to this beautiful home made the weekend. Would definitely recommend

Our family thoroughly our enjoyed our stay in this most beautiful and well-kept home in Chapel Hill which is situated on a tranquil lake. We loved cooking together in the gorgeous kitchen, visiting by the fire pit, playing pool and paddle boarding on Sunday morning. We are already thinking about our return visit!

We had an incredibly relaxing time and will be back soon. The owners are very gracious.

I was absolutely in love with this house. The pictures online did not do it justice. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and had enough amenities for everyone. It was super clean and the host were extremely helpful and friendly. During my stay, i had guest over and they are also planning to book. I will definitely be back when I need to get away.

We only stayed a short time at this house but it is lovely. Beautiful lakefront setting, if we had had more time we would have kayaked on the lake. House is in a nice neighborhood 5 minutes from downtown chapel hill which makes it convenient to explore Duke and UNC. House was clean and kids were excited about the pool table, movie room and Pac-Man video game!

We rented the entire house as VRBO and not a room in their B and B. The house is very large. The bedrooms make up only a third of the building so there is a lot of room to do things. There is a large media room with a projector. It is a little tricky but we got it going fine. I am sure that they would walk you through it if you had problems. This is living large! In a manner that we do not do normally. One thing we would have done would be to arrange to have bicycles delivered for us to ride around. It is a very nice neighborhood and everyone is working out. Running, biking, etc. Very safe for those activities. The Paris room has no drapes so if you are light sensitive bring a blindfold to sleep in. Remainder of rooms have drapes.

I would recommend choosing this location for a work offsite or a personal retreat. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything and were super responsive at all points of the process. Our group hopes to return soon!10/10!

Such a beautiful house! It was just perfect for our college reunion. The house was immaculate and incredibly well-maintained. Nothing better than waking up to a phenomenal lake view. Would definitely stay there again. The owners are super nice and always available for questions and Sherry was there upon arrival to walk us through the house. Would highly recommend.

The convenient location so close to downtown Chapel Hill was great for UNC Homecoming weekend - but in this AMAZING house on the beautiful lake made us feel like we were on a far away vacation! Sherry went above and beyond with all the special welcoming touches to make us comfortable- the comfy robes and slippers were a big favorite:) I can’t even begin to list everything that made it so fantastic - it was absolutely perfect for our group of couples wanting a fun reunion weekend in our old stomping grounds:) We hated to leave and are already discussing when we might be able to get back together to rent again!

This property is absolutely amazing. My family were down in NC for a wedding and this place did not disappoint. There were 10 of us and each had there own bedroom. Sherry, the owner was at the house to greet us and show us around and she was awesome. Top of the line appliances in the kitchen, views to die for and the location was perfect. Even the neighbors were very friendly. My wife and I went out for a run one morning and we saw a neighbor just starting his run as well so we asked for directions for the best 5 mile run. He started to show us and then just said 'c'mon, just run with me'. He showed us a beautiful path and made the workout fun and interesting. Everything in this house including the owners are first class. The communication was always fast and seemless. My family is already asking if we have anymore events to attend down in NC (we live in NY) becasue they want to go back to spend more time at this resort. It really is perfect. We stayed in the 2nd weekend of October so the weather was just perfect. My brothers only comlaint was that he did not have a fishing rod as the bass were jumping out of the water when he went on his kayak ride. This is the type of place I would recommend to anyone. I already miss sitting on the screened in porch in the morning and drinking my coffee. Can't wait to go back. Thanks agains Sherry and David.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend with friends - the home was beautiful(as advertised) and the location relative to UNC campus was perfect. The hosts were most gracious, responsive and welcoming. We had a great experience and hope to get back again!

We had 4 adults and 4 children in this beautiful house. The hosts were so generous to share their full pantry including, coffee, all condiments and so much more. We had lots of space to spread out and relax. There lake was quiet and the option to be out in the water in such heat was a nice addition. The neighborhood was charming with wild deer in many of the lawns and we were a close car ride to whole foods, great restaurants and outings. We loved the property and had a great time!

From the fruit basket to the robes and slippers, this house has it all. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the back patio, or the screened in porch, or by the dock. Kayaks and Paddleboards are available for use on the idyllic lake. Plenty of room for large families to enjoy. I would definitely rent this home again!

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. This B&B has it all: spacious, beautiful home, location on the lake, fantastic hosts, outdoor relaxation areas along with screened porch, recreation (pool table, paddle boarding on lake, etc.), and a grill that will cook anything in a hurry! Sherry and Dave gave me a tour of the house when I checked in. they were very accommodating about arrival and departure. House is very well equipped and views are fantastic. 3 bald eagles worked the lake in front of the house. Beds very comfortable and theater room fantastic for watching games. Perfect for our party of 8. Highly recommended.
