a lot off hotels in this area do not have private bathrooms so happy to find one that did

it is a old hotel and needs a lot off upgrade but that being said it was clean and the staff were great

Everything we’ve hoped for, location within walking distance to train station and Rheinfall, clean and comfortable, wonderful reception, balcony, views.

Hotel location is good. Hotel room is clean. However would like to share my 3D2N stay. Upon checkin, the receptionist mentioned: "what time would you like to have breakfast?" I replied how about 630am? ( as we were flying to london we needed to leave early for the airport) Recep replied only starts at 8am to 10am. (We had to buy our own breakfast from coop the day before to accommodate her timing).The recep mentioned that "if there is anything that you need please let me know" After we did our checkin. And we requested for boiling water as we discovered that the room was not equipped with hot water flask/kettle. We checked in around 8pm in the evening. And most of the shop houses and restaurants in the area were closed. We were hungry and starving we brought our own cup noodles but required hot water to make them. The Recep mentioned "no we do not have hot water." Following the next morning during breakfast she mentioned that you can have hot water but you need to inform the receptionist and she will escort you to the kitchen to prepare the hot water. As the hotel room is equipped with smoke sensor and boiling water causes steam. So the steam will set off the alarm. I have travelled to so many countries and stayed so many hotels. This is my first encounter having so much issues getting hot boiling water. As the room does not have boiling water. After which that night (after the breakfast which Receptionist mentioned that she will escort us the hot water from the kitchen) she deactivated the lift and prevented us from going to the reception to ask for the hot water request. My advise if you have medical condition which requires warm water like putting warm water in a warmer bag. (Body aches etc) I would strongly not recommending this hotel. My last words to the receptionist. " if you are not sincere and do not mean what you say don't say this " "please let us know should you require anything from us".

A short walk from the Rheinfalls. Very nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable and light rooms. They let you park bicycles inside.

A bit plain and lacking character, but don’t let that put you off.

Very convenient to Rhine fall and Neuhausen. Nice breakfast and rooms are ample. Some recent upgrades were welcomed.

The proximity to Rhein Falls is great, just a short walk away.

Hotel and its staff was very nice and helpful. Sunny bhai was very helpful during checkin process and allocated us really nice room. khalid is a kind person. He helped us during our breakfast to prepare tea/coffee/hot water and brought us many things to eat.

The bathroom is lacking, pillows over soft. Bar shown is separate and people smoke. No kettle in room for tea and coffee.

Location was great. Only 400 meters from the waterfall.

Hotel was outdatet. Toilet seat didn't close properly and the shower curtain fell of the wall of you trying to close it. The hotel room looks like an old sovjet hospital room and on top of that I have an allergic reaction because the bed was not clean at all. Probably because of the bed bugs.

the rooms were very old, beds uncomfortable. products to use were in mini plastic bags. clogged bathtub. we booked with breakfast. very short selection. staff was nice

Nice little hotel although a little way out of Schaffhausen. Prices of accomodation in Schaffhausen are pretty expensive, as is most of Switzerland, so we headed out to Rheinfall as we were on bicycles and heading down the Rhine anyway to get a better value hotel. The lady at reception was super friendly and we stored our bikes in a locked room. Elevator to 4th floor was great. Room was clean and a good size but no aircon. Nice towels and comfortable bed. We had a little balcony so left the door open and it was nice and cool, nice to sleep without aircon for a change. Went for a swim in the Rhine just down the road, about 5min bike ride, and it was lovely and refreshing after a long day's riding from Konstanz. Visited the Falls the next morning which is just a10 min walk from hotel. Very impressive. Nice buffet breakfast included in price of room. If you are after a cheaper, basic place to stay i would recommend this hotel.

Room was spacious, close to falls, bus outside door, train 5-10 min walk, breakfast great, caught bus to schauffausen for dinner only 10 mins away

Too expensive compared to the room size

The staff, especially the lady at breakfast was really nice and friendly. The location (close to the Rheinfall) and small village where the hotel is are both ideal and pleasant.

At some point in the evening someone tried to come into our room. The door was locked but my kids were still scared, and I was kind of worried. I tried to inform reception but there was nobody there (reception was closed for the evening)
