The swimming pool area but we did not arrive in time to use it and in the morning it was too cold to use the pool before we left.

I was really disappointed with the check in process and overall service. I booked the room in my name, but my partner was allowed me to check in without me being there using only his ID. The girl from the restaurant proceeded to talk only to him. Never once giving me any acknowledgment. The following day at reception the same strange behaviour continued. The same girl who had checked us in never once directed any of her attention to me, no eye contact,practically turning her back on me while addressing my partner for orders. Racist, Sexist, culturally ignorant, lack of education. I have no idea what the root cause of this behaviour was. I had been really looking forward to staying in this property but it was a complete disappointment. The property was in need of a refurbish. The bin in the bathroom was completely covered in rust. The jacuzzi outer panel was no longer attached, we had to use a plaster to hold it in place. The jacuzzi itself was a lot smaller the expected and not particularly inviting. The room room decor was rather dark and I got bitten several times by mosquitoes despite applying repellent. If it’s that bad a net should have been provided.

This is a lovely peaceful place to stay, extremely clean and with friendly staff. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant next to the Posada and the children enjoyed cooling off in the pool with a view over fields surrounded by a lovely garden.

Although I love a spa bath, I would have also liked a proper standing shower. Our kids had a shower in their room so perhaps it is possible to specify your preference.

We booked a suite (it was the only room left and we were on the Camino) but were not given the room we booked. For a start the bed was a queen sized bed not like the king sized bed promised. The room was not comfortable - we had to close the shutters as the people in the parking lot outside could look directly into the room. The toilet is not private - it is behind a thin curtain! We had no drinking water or a bar fridge or coffee making facilities in the room. We asked to speak to a manager but were told we had to send him an email. We paid euro 255 for the night and wrote to ask for at least a partial refund given that we had not been given the room we booked. Despite a follow up reminder we received no response.

This little hotel was perfect! My friends and I walked in off the Camino anticipating auch needed luxurious stay after sixteen miles that day on the Camino and several previous nights of less than fabulous accomodations along the Way. This place did not disappoint and in fact exceeded all my expectations!!! I plan to come back and use Guemes as a base for cycling and will definitely book the same room for that!

I can't think of anything that would have improved the time I spent there.

The view was amazing and the room so fun! Those cords on the curtain to the bathroom made me feel like I was in a palace. The terrace/ balcony was a delightful surprise! And the employees are very friendly.

You should add another option for how we got there. We came on foot on the Camino de Santiago! No car or bus for us! 🎉🎉
