Host called to warn of an event in town and arranged an early check in so that we could arrive early and avoid the road closures. House very comfortable, good shower and location was great. Netflix was a bonus. Would stay again.

This is an excellent, well appointed two bedroom house in a very central Skipton location. We really appreciated having a washing machine and dryer and smart with Netflix. The property is just a five minute walk from the middle of Skipton but in a quiet street with easy parking. The Yorkshire Dales were literally right on our doorstep

We were very pleased with location and the standard of the house. We felt vey comfortable with the use of the house, all was immaculately clean and beds were very comfortable too. Good facilities

The smaller bedroom would benefit from a wardrobe instead of the chest of drawers.

What breakfast? the location was good, but the hills to get there were more than I expected

A few more easily accessible electric sockets for charging phones etc.

It was fabulous very clean and convenient and well maintained. I recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Skipton very close to local amenities. I loved staying there

Great location with only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Also beautiful open countryside within 10 minutes drive. Property was extremely clean and well equipped. Very quiet despite proximity to the town. Overwhelming number of bars, pubs, restaurants and one off shops with lots to do.

The owner put the heating on for us and put fresh milk in the fridge and a packet of chocolate biscuits. Very comfortable beds, hot powerful shower. Games and books. Netflix. Comfortable lounge and dining room. Well-equipped kitchen

Lovely house in a very quiet area and within walking distance to everything you would need. The house was clean and comfortable and the children's Netflix was an added bonus for my 2 year old. On arrival he began to run around looking at everything very excited saying "gusta casa" ( his way of telling us he liked the house) and he repeated it many times throughout our stay.we look forward to staying again.

Brilliant location for walking into town, lots if good local pubs and places to eat and good short walks. Also good location for travelling further afield and some stunning scenery. Great few days away. Property was extremely clean and comfortable.

The house was very clean and tidy. All the necessary accessories were available in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing. The weather might not have been pleasant, but we felt comfortable, warm, and content in the house. Home away from home. Hoping to come back in the summer.

Location was amazing. Perfect for a stroll into town and not having to use the car every time. Excellent. Nigel was a brilliant host and gave us lots of information before we went on places to go and see. He had excellent well set out information sheets in the cottage about the appliances and everything that we needed to know for the day to day living in the cottage. The bath was excellent for having a bath in, some are so small! This was deep and long and made for fantastically comfortable bathing. Shower was also excellent, great pressure and choice of two shower heads; waterfall or normal. The beds were the most comfortable we have every slept in on a holiday! Wonderful! The fridge had milk in for our arrival and because I had mentioned it was my birthday, he had left a lovely card and wine and chocolate biscuits!! Amazing, so welcoming and above and beyond. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Nigel for such a wonderful 3 weeks.

The toilet seat was wobbly. The door to the front bedroom did not shut so had to keep it shut with a prop, if we didn't use something against it, it would creak and make a noise clicking to and fro. These were minor issues compared to the excellence of everything else. Two toilets would have been good when you have 4 adults staying. However, it was so clean and comfortable and very well appointed that we were more than happy.

Liked it all - no problems with anything.

The house was very close to the centre. It was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, with good quality bedding.
