Very nice pousada, the decor is simple, authentic and very pretty. I stayed there alone and I wanted tranquility, it's very quiet and the staff is helpful yet discreet. The rooms are clean and comfortable, I liked the bathroom and the big beds. The breakfirst is homemade and really good, it's available a long time. The pool is nice. Also the staff can come pick you up from the airport. It's really good place for a nice price.

The city is not really close and there are few dining options if you don't have a car.

Basically everything, from the relaxing atmosphere to the hammock, the host Gilberto who drove me around anytime I needed to go somewhere nearby or called a taxi for long range outings, and the star of the place: Mel the labrador. She's very friendly (slept under my bed every night) and robs shoes in exchange for treats. I had so many varieties of treats in my room that it looked like a cross between a pet shop and a shoe store, as she brought me everyone's shoes for trade. Come prepared or get used to hanging your flip-flops somewhere high.
