Absolutely beautiful at this boutique hotel. We were entertained by the monkeys, birds and other wildlife each day. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is close to the beach yet far enough away to be in peaceful space.

The best small, full service hotel we’ve stayed at in along time. ideally located close to beautiful beaches it’s tucked away in a very quiet corner. The rooms are very large with comfortable king beds and good pillows. There’s a full-day restaurant on site offering a wide variety of very nicely prepared food (and drinks), so you don’t really have to out restaurant hunting if you don’t feel like it. The staff are all friendly and eager to serve.

Charming boutique hotel. Lovely kind and helpful staff. Told us to listen out for howler monkeys in the afternoons that come through the hotels trees to feed. Beautiful gardens. Fantastic breakfasts - the best breakfasts thus far in our trip - the Tipico Tico breakfast of rice and beans was really delicious with lots of coriander in it which I love and we got to try the local Lizano sauces with it too which we had heard about. Tasty breakfast burrito. Yummy pancakes too. It was really hard to decide each day what to have for breakfast! Generous servings of everything also. Loved the fact that the hotel had beach towels, camping chairs, beach mats, parasols and even a mini cool box that we could take out with us in the car when we went out to the beaches - all free to use. We just had to return everything at the end of each day. Good size fridge on the room. Lovely large spacious rooms with a comfy indoor seating area and an outside terrace with chairs. Very peaceful location. Only 5 mins drive from Carillo beach and 10 mins drive to Samara town, or a 30mins walk along the beach to Samara but only at low-ish tide, not possible at high tide due to rivers to be crossed. Large flat screen TV in room which we didn’t use but seemed to have lots of US channels. Very effective and quiet aircon. Good coffee machine/ hot water heater which we used to make tea.

The WiFi connection was a bit patchy and worked well only when you were quite reception area. Our room was No 1 and just across the carpark area from reception area so WiFi was good on our terrace and ok in the room but did keep dropping off.

Perfectly located nearby two nice beaches in a quiet yet close to the village location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is great. They also lend stuff for the beach (towels, chairs, umbrella, toys)

We loved the penthouse. It was like an AirBnb with all the amenities of a hotel. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the free breakfasts.

Room was a great value and very sunny. The breakfast was great. Only a 1/2 block to the beach and it was great. This was around $120/night the place next door started at $300/nt. Excellent value

Our stay at this property was great. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location for us was appealing since it was on the quiet side on the outskirts of Samara. A very short walk and you are on a very nice part of Samara Beach.

The place is outstanding, quiet, clean surrounded by mango trees, hibiscuses, monkeys and beautiful birds. The unique , caring and super friendly staff willing to teach you Spanish and share their culture, make this place exceptional !
