The Apartment Iva is a big house with several similar apartments, owned by an elderly couple who are extremely nice, kind and helpful. You can communicate in English with the gentleman but the lady is also supernice. At our arrival, the gentleman presented the apartment and offered interesting places to visit. They offer free parking near the house (in the street). The apartment is clean, quite enough for a longer stay also. The living room which was combined with the kitchen was really nice and the air condition worked absolutely well. For us, it is an advantage that the AC is NOT in the bedroom, so it was really amazing! The kitchen equipment is okay for preparing some brief breakfast or dinner. The terrace is also amazing and very good place to have your dinner or a glass of wine at the end of your day or make your clothes dry. The city centre is 45 minutes walk but there are more bus stops (bus lines 2 and 3) in the near (5 minutes walk) so the city centre is overall 15 minutes (the timetable of the buses is an "option" only XD so go to the bus-stop and at a certain point a bus will appear... :) Overall, we were totally satisfied with the service.

There was nothing which would have been negative. Really recommended place.

Firstly, the hosts (Albino and Marija) are very nice, friendly, accommodating. Marija does not speak English but when we talked without Albino present, she used her phone to communicate with me in English through translation. My apartment was very clean, neat, and very organized when I arrived. The property also has a garden. The property is close to a grocery store and restaurant (in the same block). I never ate in the restaurant but I bought groceries 3-4 times.

(1). I booked a First Floor Apartment due to my knee injury, but was given the apartment on the top floor (Third Floor). There is no elevator so Albino carried my heavy carry-on luggage upstairs and downstairs. (2). Wifi in my apartment was not strong. I couldn’t get wifi in the bedroom, and it was in and out. (3). Some bugs got in my apartment on my first day because one window and the door to the balcony were open when I arrived. I killed 2 spiders and 1 bug with multiple legs. They were small but I am scared of bugs. I always checked for bugs before lying in bed and on the couch. (4). Water pressure in the shower is low, and hot water never got hot, only a little warm. I had to turn on the shower first and wait until it gets a little warm before I took a shower. Shower area is too small. I always bumped my left elbow on the shower door while taking a shower.

We had a great time at Iva apartments. The apartment was spotless and had superfast Wi-Fi (75Mbit/65Mbit). The hosts were amazing. I'm sure we'll come again next year.

The location is good

There toilet need some repairements. It's moving. The lid only crumbles to use it. There is a washing machine, but there was no detergent. There was no oil, shampoo, or shour gel too.

Albino & his wife Maria are very welcoming & friendly as long as you are courteous too. I travelled down to Pula by coach & so I ensured I phoned Albino & kept him in the loop on my travels & arrival time & he directed me on use of the local bus that cost 11 Kuna from the bus stop. He very kindly waited up for me & showed me around the apartment & gave me a local simple map to find my way around. I had the top floor apartment that had a view of the marina from the Balcony. I had travelled to Pula to do some Scuba Diving & so most days I was away from the apartment. There is a nice restaurant right across the street for evening meals & a shop about 100 m down the road which has all the basics one needs. The apartments have a washing machine & simple dryer so you can wash clothes without need to carry much. Really recommend you stay with Albino & Maria. Both know the area well & such lovely hosts. I'm hoping next year to return for another visit & stay with them. Suggest unless you speak croatian that if you want to watch English TV that you have a Netflix account so you can access the service as the TV shows are in Croatian but Netflix is in English. Also if you use Sweetners instead of sugar best take your own from home, as found this difficult to find at the shops as they only had sugar.

No, nothing I didn't like but I did give Albino a suggestion to put a small tub of Coffee, Tea, sugar/Sweetner & some long life milk in the apartments as if one arrives late & the shops are closed, one has nothing to warm oneself up or refresh first thing in the morning. Small gesture which would be welcomed I'm sure. Also perhaps a Folder with details on the local taxi Company, Bus time table, charter companies to see Dolphins & the sights & things to do in Pula. Its a beautiful city but do need local knowledge.

Albino, the host, is fantastic with his recomendations. The apartmant is big, clean, with washing machine and everything that you need. I mean everything. The best aparment that we rented in the past 5 years!!! Definetly we recommend this place. Hvala Albino!!!

Very helpful owners, good place espescialy if you have car, clean, quiet. Not far from beaches, also not far from city center, you can take and bus. Apartments has everything what you need to stay for longer period, kitchen tools, bowls and etc.
