BRIGHTON BEACH COTTAGE - LITERALLY STEPS TO THE SAND
Cottage de plage douce avec tout le charme d'antan avec les cloches et les sifflets d'aujourd'hui. Entièrement rénové avec des planchers de bois franc, une cuisine entièrement équipée mise à jour avec des comptoirs en quartz et de nouveaux appareils électroménagers, une magnifique salle de bains rénovée, des fenêtres en vinyle à double vitrage et d'énormes ponts de divertissement. La chambre BONUS est l'endroit idéal pour les enfants ou les parents pour se détendre et se relaxer. Pont avant a vue sur l'eau blanche à la jetée et le patio arrière est parfait pour les réceptions privées. À seulement un pâté de maisons de Dog Beach et à quelques minutes des restaurants, des boutiques et de la vie nocturne. Buanderie privée et parking dans la rue. Seulement 5 propriétés de la plage de sable fin. Vous ne pouvez pas battre cet endroit ou charme pour vos prochaines vacances!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we stay here, and we have an enjoyed every single stay. Area is very close to restaurants and activities. Host is very responsive to any need. Water and sand are only a few steps away. We will continue to stay here every year. Thank you so much!

This adorable cottage is in the perfect location. We were able to walk to everything with ease. The house is wall stocked, super clean and cozy. The owners are quick to respond and very friendly. Our stay was full of adventure and comfort.

We woke up to a homeless person passed out next to our car the second morning. The beach which is a block away is overwhelmed with homeless. They have taken over the public bathroom taking showers in the outside shower. The parking lot has many vehicles with homeless in them. It is such a shame but I would not go there again and I would not endorse it. Sorry.

We enjoyed our stay, house is clean and comfortable plus walkable to beach and restaurants. It had all the basics to wash dishes clothes and even shower products.
Having only one bathroom wish there were more mirrors to use when getting ready.

This was a very comfortable place at one of the "old style California Beaches". Easy walk to the beach and dog beach, our dog loved it. Lots of decent restaurants around and small markets. Place had all you need to cook, sleep, play and lounge. Very enjoyable. And if you count planes, you wont be disappointed.

After staying several times on Mission Beach and Newport Beach, we tried OB last year and found our new place to stay therefore returning this year. We’ve discovered the neighborhood is much more family friendly; the food and shops are closer; and the beach is not busy.
Our stay at Brighton Beach Cottage is the perfect spot from the beach and eateries. Lots of space for a family of 5 to spread out and have their own space with a private front and very spacious back patio. I know it only has one bathroom, however, the fact that you have lots of private space inside and out, close proximity to the beach/eateries, and the amazingly spacious dedicated parking spot completely outweigh that fact.
We appreciate Catrina allowing us to stay in her place and being very attentive when called. We’d definitely love to stay again.

This home was equipped with everything we needed to make our Christmas Holiday complete! Such a cozy, clean and relaxing stay - loved being so close to walk to the beach with coffee in the morning. It was perfect for 3 of us - beds were very comfy - the backyard was a great layout for our son's dog to visit, he knew exactly where the "potty" area was.
Definite 5 stars on the kitchen - very well stocked with anything we could possibly need. So convenient to downtown OB - love shops, restaurant's and the vibe. The Wednesday farmers market was awesome - huge! Complete with bongos and fire dancers!
I can't wait to come back in warmer weather - so we could truly enjoy the back yard and front deck - and try some surfing! Parking out back was very convenient!
Catrina and Jason were perfect hosts - very responsive.
This home is a definite repeat on our list.

On occasion I've found the property does not live up to the pictures. This property is BETTER than the pictures. Everything you need in this cozy cute little beach bungalow is at your fingertips. Steps from the beach, it is a quiet neighborhood with friendly folks living nearby and walking by the front of the house to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need and the washer and dryer made it so convenient. We will definitely stay here again. Comfortable furniture and a spacious deck out back - Loved it!

This was an amazing property! The location was great and I loved taking my dog to the beach multiple times a day. The porch was great to enjoy a drink and people watch with a view of the ocean at sunset. The back patio was also great with a super convenient outdoor shower and a pet relief area inside the fence. The place was spotless and the area was quiet and relaxed. Would definitely rent again!

This is my second time staying at this place and I will come back again. The location is perfect. It is nicely updated with everything you need. Bring a makeup mirror if you have multiple girls staying there as there is only a mirror in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker.

Thank you for the wonderful home we stayed. The location was great easy to walk around and see OB. The zoo and Seaworld and even the airport are just a short ride away. We loved our stay and would love to come back and stay again. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The property is cute, clean, close to the beach.
We had two issues.
1. The internet didn't work, so no TV for us. Called the owner who did not offer to call the internet provider.
2. The smoke alarm kept going off for no reason.

It was really nice! Very comfortable and clean! Loved the beds! Some of our family members suffer from back problem; however, during our stay, there were no complaints about back pains or such.

Just a 2-minute walk to the beach, 5-minute walk to the pier. Very cozy place. Not the largest place, but definitely big enough for a weekend or week at the beach.
Catrina and Jason were proactive and responsive in all communications.

Such a perfect property! Close to bars, restaurants and shops on both sides, lots of outdoor spaces to hang, close to the beach (literally 2 minutes to walk to the beach), clean and comfy!

Second stay and it was as great as the first time!! Area is great for families. Great restaurants around. House has everything you might need. We played board games every night. Spent the day at the beach every day. Breakfast in the front patio and dinner in the back patio every day. My favorite thing is that there’s an outdoor shower where we can rinse all the beach sand off and not bring any into the house. Will be staying here every year!

Catrina went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. My grandsons really liked having surfboards handy and made good use of them. I can’t wait to go back.

Adorable and great location
My family of 6 loved our stay in ocean beach. The home was beautiful, clean, and very accessible. The additional amenities, like boogie boards and surfboards, chairs and volleyball, were fantastic. The proximity to ocean beach was amazing, (basically five houses away) and the outdoor picnic tables were wonderful! We would definitely recommend this location.

This house was perfect for a getaway to Ocean Beach. Steps from the beach and within walking distance to many fun restaurants and breweries. We loved that there were beach chairs and toys for the kids and the house was clean and well appointed. Catrina was great at communicating and easy to work with. Great stay!

This place was absolutely perfect! Walking distance to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Everything we needed was available which made our stay less stressful. Would definitely return!

Perfect for our family of 4. House had everything we needed. Very comfortable and homey. Cancellation of flights meant we only stayed 1 night instead of the 2 we had planned- hosts were flexible and accommodating regarding our change in plans. High recommend!
