Here we spent one of our best holidays. The location is wonderful, a very peaceful place, situated at maximum 10 min. walking distance from the mountain lift. The house is traditional, but the apartments are modern, comfortable, very clean, well maintained, and have large balconies. The owners are extremely kind and always willing to help. Alexandra, the host we had the most contact with, was very welcoming and helpful during our whole stay. You have no chance to get bored at Kolberhof or in the area. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. We did not travel with children, but we noticed and appreciated that the house is children friendly. At the property you have the possibility to order fresh bread, which you get in the morning, and to buy all kind of home made products. We tried apple juice, apple mouse, elderflower syrup, jams, pesto. All were delicious. We really enjoyed being here, in the beautiful Alpbach Valley and will definitely come back. If we should describe Kolberhof in two words, those would be “highly recommended”.

The host Alexandra & Christian are very kind, helpful & welcoming. Overall, we had a very nice experience with them. Apartment is at an excellent location with so much of peace & serenity, traditional wooden house but interiors were modern & well done tastefully. Would love to come back for Skiing & summer vacations in future

Modern and comfortable apartments with fairly well equipped kitchen, friendly staff and good location not too far from the lifts to the slopes. We were lucky and had good snow so it was possible to ski down to the lifts and directly from the slopes home. However, I can imagine that if the snow does not stay, it might be a bit more complicated to reach the lift and it might require a small car ride as it would be quite difficult to reach by foot. Sauna 4 days a week was an unexpected plus.

Nothing not to like, although we did find a bit disturbing that toilets do not have any windows or aeration.... (Also, for people not speaking German, it might take some time to communicate - nonetheless the owners and staff are really friendly.)
