Abi's place is an absolute gem! First things first, breakfast time was a real treat. Abi knows how to spoil her guests with a spread of light breakfast treats which is needed when you’re on long walks. But let me tell you, her homemade flapjacks were the real show-stoppers! Now, onto the room – it was something else! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I mean, seriously, it was like sleeping on a cloud made of marshmallows. And Abi's the kind of host that goes the extra mile. We brought our pup with us, and she'd set up this whole doggy haven with a mat, blanket, water bowl, and treats – talk about pet-friendly hospitality! The room was spacious, and I even managed to get some work done while enjoying the awesome view of lush greenery outside. It was the perfect spot to unwind and stay productive at the same time. Now, let me rave about the bathroom – it totally deserves its own paragraph, no doubt about it! I swear, it felt like we were in a fancy hotel with that shower and bathtub combo. Not to mention all the fancy amenities that came with it. Talk about pure luxury, my friend! All in all, Abi's place is a winner. From the scrumptious breakfast to the cozy room and the swanky bathroom, the hidden house ticks all the right boxes. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favour and book a stay at this little slice of heaven. Trust me, you won't regret it!

it is situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of Stroud. lots of roadside parking. Although we did not have time on our trip for sightseeing, we could see that Stroud is situated in an area of great natural beauty.

Great location for what we wanted to do. It was a short weekend break for a friend and I; we wanted to explore somewhere new. Accommodation/room was great - just what we had asked for, and very comfortable. All the hosts - Abi, Berkley, and Gertie were all excellent at making us welcome. Breakfast was spot on, as were the special flapjacks - just scrumptious! The decor was also amazing. We left feeling very relaxed having been made very welcome. Would stay there again if we are in the area.

A room of us is like a luxury hotel.’s. also, the owner gave us a lots of information we wan’t know. With owner’s dogs and neighbor cats are pretty. It’s a livery BB. If we have a chance, we want to return again.

On very outskirts of town so took several small roads to get anywhere.

Abi was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the area, made very considerate arrangements for one of us being vegan with many breakfast options, pub suggestions and areas to visit. House is warm and comfortable, lovely dog (that won't disturb you) and is friendly to spend time with.

Amazing property, lovey and welcoming host and delicious flapjacks made my Abi - she gave some great recommendations throughout the stay and also the location was great.

Abi the host a delight (and communications were great), as was her Basset hound Berkeley. The house is lovely and there's also a good communal space to lounge about in, or work.

Great location. Clear and comprehensive information sent by the host in advance. Warm welcome with tea and flapjacks. Clean and comfortable room. Flexible for our early breakfast needs on first day, with lovely fresh fruit and range of cereals, breads, preserves and yoghurt. Our host was attentive and clearly concerned for our welfare with great recommendations for dinner venues. Thank you Abi and Berkeley the Basset Hound!

We were unsure how the shared bathroom for our room option would work prior to arriving, but our worries were unfounded, it was absolutely fine, very clean and other users very respectful of each other.

Room was well appointed and spacious. Abi (the owner) was very knowledgeable and thoughtful as she made it a point to remember my wife's birthday with some cake, balloons and champers. The breakfast was very nice and just the right amount. It was great to visit the Hidden House.

Only thing that would've improved things would be a tv, as I like to watch the news in the morning and a movie of an evening. Everything else was excellent.

From the first welcome by Abi, and Berkeley, to our waving goodbye, we loved our stay. Everything was spotless, tasteful and comfortable - especially the bed. I don’t think I’ve slept better anywhere else. Abi is a wonderful ambassador for Stroud and the surrounding areas. What she doesn’t know is not worth knowing. Whatever you fancy doing, Abi can advise. Add to this the simply gorgeous Berkeley the Basset and we were in heaven! A gentle hound who acted like a proper gentleman with our 2 visiting Bassets! Thank you for a cracking stay xxxx

Truly wonderful host, looked after us and made us very welcome. Berkeley the dog was super chilled and sweet. Both me and my boyfriend are planning to go back in the next month or so for some home away from home time.
