We spent the weekend with our parents, siblings, and their kids. The house was as shown in pics. Enough beds for everyone, well stocked kitchen, and the owners replied promptly when I had questions. Everyone was very happy with the house and you can tell the owners have put thought into the place and what people will need.

This location is great for large families with kids of all ages. There are plenty of games and activities for everyone with enough space for multiple families. We stayed over Christmas and it was a great location to celebrate the holiday with family.

The property was very nice and could accommodate our extended family. We had a great time, the kids all loved the scooters and games. Plenty of room to spread out.

Wonderful property for a family event! The kids loved all of the space and fun things to do including basketball, air hockey, scooters, exploring all of the nooks and crannies. All of the beds were great! Hope to get back for more family events!

This property was fantastic for our fishing group. We had 12 people, one was 9 years old, and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The kitchen was big enough for making our meals and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All the games were great to have. It was very nice being right in town so we could walk to the bar or the grocery store. We had 3 boats and there was plenty of parking area for them and we were able to plug them in. It was really nice to have a spacious garage as well. We have another group of guys that are looking to come here in the spring and I plan on booking this for us again next fall. Thanks!

We had a girls trip and stayed at this unique property. It was exactly as described. Very roomy, tons of beds, plenty of seating for everyone and room to spread out. They had lots of games to keep us all busy. The house was very well stocked and there wasn't anything we needed that the host hadn't already supplied. Thank you Julie for letting us experience the town hall.

The collection of games, toys, crafts kept the children ( 3-16) thoroughly engaged! Plenty of room for sleeping. Well stocked kitchen/bathroom.

Our stay at the Old Town Hall was wonderful! The crib, highchair and toys for my grandson were great. Lot's of space for our whole family and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Julie was quick to respond to all of our questions.

This property is exactly as listed. We had a group of 13 from 3 years old to grandma age. We had lots of space to spread out, plenty of sleeping room with nice beds and everything provided for us. The kids loved the upstairs "orphange" as they called it with sleeping areas, toys and craft activities. They had a fashion show on the "catwalk" and raced each other on the scooters. We had a game tournament for the adults and kids alike. We were able to cook most our meals but enjoyed walking down the street to the restaurant for a meal out complete with horseracing and meat raffle. Such a good location for a weekend getaway. We would recommend to other families!

This place had everything we needed! Host was very helpful in setting up extra tables and making sure all was ready to go when we arrived! Has an elevator and our 98 y/o grandma could get to the house no problem! Lots of toys to play with. Lots of things to keep teens organzied, Well stocked kitchen. Could use some gates for the stairs and catwalk if you have littles. Overall a great stay!

This is a fantastic property for a large group. It has lots of space yet feels homey and cozy. There are lots of things to do from boardgames and video games to sledding in volleyball. The kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook meals. The beds are comfortable.

This was my family’s second stay here. It’s such a unique and wonderful place to stay. Lots of games. Kitchen is fully equipped. Quick responses from the owner when we had questions. A+ definitely recommend.

Looking for a place to get together for MEA - camping in Minnesota is rather "iffy" in October, so I started looking for the "perfect place". Found a few, then this awesome photo of "The Town Hall" popped up. It was perfect!! I contacted the owner, who replied quickly. I told the family about it - and booked it. We arrived before the kids and grandkids, went in the house, looked at the size and we were both in awe! Took our own little tour - so many things to do - and that's in the house! Craft area, plenty of bedrooms, beds, 2 bathrooms, a very well stocked kitchen, game tables, an upstairs sitting room, large area to lounge, watch tv or whatever, a washer and dryer and a dishwasher!! I could go on, but I will just say it was awesome!! Our grandkids loved having the upstairs to call their own. It was SO hard to leave! Oh - did I mention a garage with a handicap lift?? The owner was SO helpful and friendly. We had a blast! Thanks Julie!!

There are very few places that allow for my crazy family to fully enjoy our time together. This place has it all! Host (and Community when needed) are super friendly and willing to provide assistance. Quiet street with adjacent playground. Plus so many great spaces within the house for rest, play, and conversation. Plus just a short drive to Alexandria or Runestone county park.

Perfect place for a large group of family/friends

Fifteen of us stayed at this remarkable house for a week-long family reunion. Everyone had a bed to sleep in… the adults all had private bedrooms and the grandkids enjoyed the beds in the loft. We cooked dinner every night in the spacious kitchen and thanks to the extra available tables, we were able to all eat together. The kids and adults enjoyed the air hockey, foosball, and other games that were provided. We even enjoyed making cards and pictures with the many craft supplies that were there. We explored the area most days, enjoying nearby parks, playgrounds, and museums. We also went bowling, swimming, kayaking, and tubing down a nearby river. This was one of our most memorable vacation experiences. We would highly recommend others to come and stay at this truly unique vacation rental.

7 siblings and spouses spent 4 nights. Played games. Watched family videos and family pictures. Played daily trivia. Played newlywed game. Ate. Laughed, Ate, drank adult beverages, Ate, played games, Ate.

Everything was great. Had a great time with family.

Family friendly, well stocked kitchen

This place is amazingly cool. If you are looking for a place to getaway with a group of people for a weekend, this property has a lot to offer. The host responds quickly and is very friendly. Plenty of space for games that are all included and the architecture of seeing this transformed building are super cool!

Our annual Memorial Day fishing weekend, just the guys! Was a great space for our group, very clean, and equipped with everything needed. We’ll be back!

I threw a woman's retreat for my 11 Co workers. It was amazing. Perfect place for a large group of people to be together yet have their own space. Loved the heated floors in the bathrooms and the jetted tub. The owner was extremely helpful as there was a storm our first night everything was perfect.

Out trip happened to coincide with some nasty weather. Not to worry, the space is huge and there are activities abound! We brought some food for VRBO-cooked meals and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the needed cookware. Beds were very comfy and there are lots of comfy nooks if you’ve got readers in your group. Also, being able to park in the spacious garage during the nasty weather was a nice amenity. We’ll definitely be back.
