This is a lovely hotel and cafe in a converted old house so full of character. The location is walkable from both West and Ost train stations.The view from my room over the river and mountains was great to wake up to and the breakfast was substantial enough to set you up for the day with scrambled eggs, cheese etc. The staff were all really nice and friendly and were kind enough to give some advice before I set out to climb Harder Kulm as the conditions were quite wet and icy in mid December. Much appreciated guys, highly recommended!

Apesar de termos vivido apuros quando chegamos ao hotel, o que poderia inclusive ter transformado drasticamente nossa viagem, fomos tão bem tratados pela equipe, que o incidente foi solucionado, de modo a não causar maiores transtornos. O café da manhã é ótimo, o quarto é bastante confortável e a localização é ótima para passeios a pé pela cidade. Pretendemos retornar à Suíça e se voltarmos à Interlaken, poderemos nos hospedar novamente.

First: The Hotellier is serving one of the worlds best cappuccinos!!! And the scrambled egge are also super! And the location with a nice terrasse overlooking a bit of the river is really good.

I was in the room t0 the street on 1 floor. And I was actually "happy" that my girlfriend got ill and could not come: The room would have been way too small for two people. They are much smaller than what they look like on the pics. And it is VERY NOISY!! In the mornings when the staff arrives or guests leave, the entrance door is each time making a "BANG" which catapults you out of bed. And the door to the room is absolutely not soundproof!! These hotel-Basics are sadly more important than good coffee on the balcony (I used the coffee to get awake after the horrible bad sleep). So for the comparably high price I did find quite a few much better hotels in Interlaken. I get the feeling that the owner/manager is more a Caffè Guy, and not a hotel-Guy. He would do well in getting some help in how to run a good hotel where you can sleep well - he could then help others with coffee and eggs!

Central to everything in Interlaken, minutes walk to heart of city. Location great. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Best coffee. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early and was able to store our bags. View from our room was beautiful overlooking the lake.

Breakfast was ok but we really enjoyed our time in the guest lounge in the ground floor where there's free coffee/tea. We bought food in the grocery and stayed there every time we came back from our tour.

Its just ok for the price and we couldn't ask for anything else :)

Excellent location, very spacious room for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids), clean and gracious host. Bus stop right behind the hotel and Interlaken West Station was only 5 minutes walk.

Property was great but the Church behind us rings bell every hour starting 8 pm until morning which was inconvenient.

Our apartment wasn't cleaned very well. We were staying for 4 days with 3 of us in the room. Our mugs and glasses were not washed. Floor seemed like it was not cleaned. The bathroom did not match our expectations.

Located centrally in Interlaken. Easy walk to get to Interlaken West and Ost stations and also the main shopping street. Breakfast is nice as we were offered freshly made scrabbled eggs and coffee each morning and there’s a simple buffet to help yourself to fruit, toast, and cereals. Room was spacious enough for 2 people. Furniture provided is modern. The view from the windows of the rooms towards front of the hotel had a beautiful outlook of the mountains and river. Block out blinds provided were great for sleeping in. Bathroom in the room is modern. A visitors/guest card was provided to use the buses in the area for free. You must sign up for this at check-in and they will then approve the application digitally. Quiet area of Interlaken. Love the fact there’s a cafe accessible downstairs from 8am to 7pm. We were able to use a guest lounge to store our luggage before check-in time. This had lounges, a sink & kettle facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned well.

There’s no tv in the room and the mattress was a firm feel. We prefer a softer feel but we still slept fine. The doona provided is thin but the heating in the room was sufficient enough for us to stay warm enough. The bathroom was quite small, the shower made it difficult to turn around in without bumping the mixer tap, and the sink was kinda impractical to use. There was a loud banging noise every time the side access / after hours hotel entrance door is closed by other guests and we could hear other guests talking and walking up the stairs. Zero noise insulation here. I recommend packing ear plugs. Be mindful there are stairs only here (no lift). Hardly any space to hang clothes in the room just three hangers and a high shelf.

The rooms were on second floor and there was no lift and we were travelling with kids and they were not able to carry the luggage to second floor we took by ourself five big bags. in breakfast except bread and butter, tea coffee there was nothing .
