The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From extra pillows, comforters, and blankets to additional towels, coffee, tea, and cleaning supplies, every detail exceeded our expectations. Their thoughtful preparation made our stay exceptionally enjoyable.

1) a strong moldy smell inside the unit 2) no kitchen, and this fact is not mentioned in the description of the property 3) the owner changed her phone number but did not update it 4) the property offered a discount (I have a screen shot of it), but it disappeared when I paid. When asked, the owner said she never had offered a discount.

Facility is a finished ground floor and the owner lives upstairs, and is surrounded by a quiet wooded area. The owner met us upon our arrival and provided instructions on entry through garage and the lay out of the unit. The unit is clean, spacious with 3 rooms and can sleep up to six people. In winter and snowy season, an all wheel drive or snow tires fitted car is necessary to get in and out of the property. About 10 minutes drive to the ski slope and to restaurants (no cooking at the rental unit).

No breakfast, kitchen, or service available. Coffee and coffee maker, teas and a small refrigerator were available. No option to cook, have to eat out or do take outs.

Very good location, 10 minutes drive from Pico. Possibility to park at the entrance of the driveway not to take risks of engaging our RWD family van on the snowy drive. Very friendly hosts. Kids used the drive, the property and nearby golf course for playing in snow and sledding. Despite absence of the stove, everything else is there so managing food for the family was not a problem.

Cute 3br apartment in a house in the woods, secluded from the road and quiet, only 10 minutes from the ski lifts. The value for the money, the privacy, the comfort, the convenience and the helpfulness of the hosts were all outstanding. Finding this apartment was a pearl that turned our nice expected weekend in a outstanding one. The hosts live upstairs and they gave us total privacy. They were extremely kind not just to make sure the road was clean of snow, but they went the extra length to let us stay one extra night for free to avoid driving back to NY in the coming storm. It was so kind of them and totally unexpected, thank you so much!

A very minor suggestion about the apartment arrangement that did not impact our experience and rating: we found ourselves walking back and forth carrying food and dishes between the laundry room, which has a sink and the fridge, through the kids room and to the living area that has two tables, microwave, coffe machine and plenty of chairs and space. I would suggest to swap that long table by the wall in the living room with the clothes hanging rack in the laundry room, which would then become a small but functional kitchen for breakfast for a family of 4 like us. The living area would continue to have a large table and space if desired. Just a small suggestion at zero cost.
