The unit was very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed the firepit with the moon & stars over the lake. The rental had everything we needed.

Easy booking and communication! The unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is part of a 4 unit building, but the other 3 units are being remodeled and were empty- so we had the property to ourselves- which was perfect! You are very close to neighbors, but we traveled late August and the neighbors did not seem to be visiting when we were. Nice rustic feel to the apartment. We enjoyed the enclosed/screened side porch. Given the proximity of neighbors- perhaps an optional curtain on the french doors to allow for night time privacy would be nice- but we had no problem as is overall! Bedding and sofa very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and even came with a few hostess gift treats. The little beach area is nice for evening, but we prefer the public beach for swimming as this side of the lake is mushy bottomed and very shallow. Perfect for kayak launch, though! We’ll be back for sure!!!

We had the best long weekend. Cute, clean place. So close to town, loved having our own piece of beach and the lake. Host was so helpful and friendly (so were the neighbors). Will definitely be staying again!

What a great find!!!!! Very clean and comfortable house filled with everything you could possibly need. Breath taking views and the beach is fabulous.

Stayed here for the ADK Marathon Festival and had a great time in this well-equipped, clean place. Very conveniently located, walking distance to town and the beach. We all enjoyed spending the evening on the beach with a fire and got to see the festival's fireworks with a front-row view. Would be happy to stay here again!

We rented this as a "Mom's Trip" and it was perfect. Very clean, great location, wonderful beach. Highly recommend this little gem.

This Hidden Treasure was great. Very Accommodating Hosts and Pleasurable place to stay. I would definitely stay again. Loved the loacation and the beach close by.

This property has been Recently renovated and was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including keurig, with pods. 50 foot walk to the private beach and 1/2 mile walk to town. The beach front is sandy and shallow. The village has a couple restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream.

I actually hate writing a good review for this place because I would love to keep it a secret. The house was perfect for me and two friends. The lake is an easy walk down a grassy path to the beach. The beach set up was perfect and the owners left wood for us for the first night’s fire. We probably could have gotten two nights out of it but the atmosphere was so lovely we didn’t want to go in. We kayaked from the beach both days we were there and it is a one minute drive to stores in town.

It was perfect for what we wanted: a rental with a kitchen for cooking and more room to spread out than a hotel. This had the huge bonus of having access to a small stretch of beach where we had bonfires and launched our kayaks. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on Schroon Lake, and at this location! The accommodations were cozy and clean. The area was quiet, even though there were many people staying around us. Evenings down by the lake, with the fire pit and tiki torches, put the cherry on each day of motorcycle touring's cake! We all highly recommend this location! I am sure it is BEAUTIFUL in the fall.

The home was perfect for a cozy weekend away! We had a great time on the beach and appreciate the loving care the owners put into every detail. Comfy beds too :) Highly recommend this treasure!

Lovely property just steps to private beach on Schroon Lake! The cottage is very clean, very cozy and close to the center of Schroon Lake. We loved the enclosed porch that looks out to the lake, too. Wonderful hosts!

This was our first time and we were very pleased with the property. The living space was cozy and clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the fire pit on the beach. It certainly didn’t hurt that the foliage was at its peak and stunning! We would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Overall the place was cozy and comfortable. The sun porch was adorable, we really enjoyed our stay.

This two bedroom apartment was just as shown. The location was so nice as well. It was a very quiet neighborhood. Lake views from the sunroom, dining room, and front bedroom. Simply follow the path to the lake. The lake is clean with an amazing view. Parking was simple and next to the front door. The town is such a cozy, friendly community with plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also enjoy the beautiful lake while in town. I hope to stay here again soon.

The immaculately clean, and well-appointed apartment, with a view and easy access to the Schroon Lake exceeded our expectations! We had absolutely everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay!!! Would highly recommend this cottage-like apartment to couples, as well as families with children.

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and dishwasher.Had coffee maker and Keurig .The bathroom was slightly small in size though but the shower was excellent and had enough towels.Had nice games and toy stuff for the kids.The picture makes it feel that the beach is right next to the cottage which is not .we had to walk thru a marked pathway and a very small patch is for private use.We enjoyed our stay .The town is close by and we had lovely walks by the beach ,hiking bakery and restaurants to go to.We could not rent boats just for few hours.There they most rent by days.

Had a great weekend staying here with another couple. The house is comfortable and fully equipped, and tucked away just steps from the lake. Will definitely be back!

It was beautiful and peaceful and so clean!!! The home was exactly as described, the welcome gifts were a nice touch! My only recommendations would be a mirror in the bedroom with the king bed and an electrical outlet in the bathroom!

This was a lovely experience, with a beautiful home and private (and amazing!) beach access. We were comfortable and happy with the house, and so excited about all aspects of the property. There are toys for the beach, extra toiletries just in case, books, tvs, etc. Just thoughtful, organized, clean, and wonderful.

The property is updated and very clean. It's in a perfect location and the beach offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Kris, the host, was very responsive and accommodating. Overall our experience was really great.

What a hidden treasure. It is located close to the village of Schroon, but set back, and close to the water. We were able to play in the water all day, and go into down for dinner. There is a grocery store, and anything else you could need close by. The house was clean, well kept, and had anything we could possibly need - including sand toys. The beach was a short walking distance away - close enough that we could walk back for snacks, drinks, or anything else we may have needed. The beach/lake front was private, and we were able to build sand castles, swim, and toast marshmallows at night. The kids (twin four year olds) were able to walk into the water, and swim. Which they loved. The owners answered all our questions, and were wonderful to deal with. We made many wonderful memories, and will be back for sure.

If you want to get away for a little bit, this place is for you. It’s remotely located away from the city life, by the lake which offers you amazing views. The cabin and their owners make it even better. The hosts were generous with providing us with amenities. The market is nearby. There are chairs and bonfire pit by the lake to sit. Just a little piece of heaven on earth. A word of caution, the dedicated pathway to the beach is about 80 yards from the cabin, so avoid walking through the neighbor’s property

All around great, what u kind find below excellent u will find 2 things above excellent. I'd come back without complaint. As an essential worker during the pandemic found it recharging

We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids to enjoy a cozy three night Fall visit to the Adirondaks. Could have easily fit a few more people if we needed too. Great location for day drips to other areas of interest. Very friendly and thoughtful property owner. Checked on us twice. Nicely updated. New appliances. Well supplied with pots, pans, utensils, knives, gas grill, Keurig and regular drip coffee makers. You have a view of the mountainside, beach and lake through the porch windows - Its about 75 feet to the beach through an access right-of-way. Amazing views from the beach during the day and night! We used the fire pit on the beach every night too. We would definitely recommend this property : )
