Enjoyed our stay very much. Fun for every age group in our family - ages 3 to 62. The sofas were a pretty worn, but beds were very comfortable. A lot of room in the house for family of 8, and plenty of space outside as well as fairly private. Beautiful area and the club house made it a perfect getaway for us.

The property was in a good location and the club house was great. The pull out couches were extremely uncomfortable/thin mattresses. Also no shades in the basement where the pull out couches were. For advertising sleeping 8 you should have better accommodations for the sofa sleepers. A few minor issues too but otherwise it was fine.

This was a perfect place to stay for our "friends getaway", so glad we found it. Super clean, roomy, not far from town and the area is beautiful. We were also able to use the Owners Club amenities which are amazing. We'll definitely stay here again if our plans bring us back to the Galena area.

Very clean home. Loved the 3 bed 3 bath feature. A short drive to many different activities. We were riding motorcycles and loved that we were able to use the garage. Definitely would recommend this home!

It was a perfect place for our family to meet up. With the hot tub, board games, game room, and grill, we had plenty to do without having to go into town. We had a lovely view of the wildlife and amazing sunset off the back deck.

My husband and I live very hectic lives with work and our 4 kids in all different stages of adolescence. We needed a break. We needed quiet. I booked this property within 24 hours and I am so glad I made this choice. The property is about a 15 minute drive from Main Street and the neighborhood is just beautiful. We especially loved the wild turkeys walking around in the morning. The hot tub has two seats with working jets, so that worked for us and the pool table was a nice touch. I didn't know my husband used to play in pool leagues when he was younger, but I was a worthy opponent! Check in and out was seamless, the instructions were very clear. This quick weekend getaway was the break we were looking for (and dreamed of for a long time!) and we will definitely book again. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

We had a wonderful time staying at Cogan Drive! The house was incredibly comfortable, especially the linens! The kitchen has everything you need, and was large and user friendly. The kids, especially loved the hot tub and the video games. We sort of gave up on the fireplace after relighting the pilot light several times, but that was ok. The location was great and it was nice to be a short drive from The Owners’ Club. Overall five stars - we would highly recommend.

This was our fourth annual family get together at a Galena Escape property.This home was beautiful, clean and well stocked. It had a beautiful large hot tub, new gas grill, and great fire pit area with new chairs. We were concerned that the internet phone service was non existent. In fact, the first night. The landline didn’t work either. Our cell phones stated we had SOS mode. The day we departed our cell phones were working. Linda and Gail are always prompt in returning our e-mails or phone calls.

Overall a very good experience. Easy to rent, check in and check out. All mechanicals working well. Great location close to pool and marina but remote enough for lots of peace and quiet. Home was clean enough but needs a deep clean - kitchen walls especially. Liked the list of items to bring from the rental company. Need to add soap for the showers as there was nothing provided but hand soap at the sinks.

My husband and I stayed at this property for my son's wedding, which was at Oakhill Farm. It was a 25-minute drive from the venue. As the groom's mom it was a little ways away on roads I am not familiar with but worth it. Our Keurig broke on the 3rd day, I called the manager immediately, and they had a new one there within the hour. My only recommendation to others, plan accordingly if you want to go to the Owners Club to use the exercise room/ pool (GO EARLY). We couldn't get a spot and had to leave, and that was 10:30 a.m.Side Note: We had the rehearsal dinner at Eagle Ridge / Highlands Restaurant, the staff was amazing. We loved that it was only 6 minutes up the road. We enjoyed our stay, glad we chose it.

This was the best 3 night trip. So peaceful I feel like we were gone a week. The area is beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves.

I stayed here with 4 girlfriends for a weekend and we found the house to be a little sub-par compared to other Galena Territory properties we've stayed at. A few things:
- Keurig wasn't working properly
- Garage door wasn't working properly - one sensor stayed red, one green so it would close and immediately go back up.
- Front keyless lock was infuriating and we could not get it to lock at all, following all instructions and basically trying everything. Had to lock from the inside and go out the back patio door each time. It unlocked just fine.
- Cobwebs all over the basement bedroom in the ceiling corners
- When the temperature is decent upstairs, it's absolutely freezing downstairs, had to use all available blankets on a very hot weekend.
- The house looks much smaller than the pictures would have you believe. Yes we know it was 2100 sq ft, but pictures don't convey how small it really feels.
- Minor but the pacman game in the basement does not allow 2 players, even though it is a 2 player game.
- Pool table has 1 pool cue (and one small cue but no stand) - kinda a pain.
Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, but we would not choose to stay here again.
We did not contact the property managers with these issues because we were only there for a quick weekend and being in & out of the house, it just wasn't worth the time or hassle.

The property was a very nice place, plenty of room inside and outside. The game room downstairs was a huge plus with the kids. They played there most of the time lol.

Communication great, cleanliness great, location good, fun games, nice hot tub and fire pit. Very disappointed that they counted their pull out couches as sleepable beds. These pullout mattresses are extremely short and approx 3” thick. But, There is plenty of floor space to bring your own blow up mattress. Thank goodness we brought one as backup for our 7th adult.

Lovely house in a lovely location. Easy and inviting. We enjoyed the porch, the views, and the property. It is close to the owners club and an easy car trip into downtown Galena for dinner/shops. We had a minor issue getting the garage door to stay down and phoned the property manager. She answered immediately and texted us the solution in minutes. She was friendly and no one even needed to come out. Very clean and well arranged.
