Staff - so helpful with info and luggage storage even as their booking system broke down. Location Breakfast - something for everyone, a real treat.

Excellent location based on the purpose of the trip.

Cleanliness of the room could have been much better. I’ve stayed in a lot of Hotels through the years. Especially during my working years. These midlevel large brand name Hotels seem to have an issue with cleanliness. Small individually owned and operated Hotels in general do a much better job when it comes to the hole business of Hospitality.

Great location, great breakfast, great staff and good local discounts, great sleep also.

Breakfast just terrible Scrambled Eggs are just not good / more water than eggs . Just nice omelette or boiled would be better. Poor options for breakfast . Not enough croissant for all the Guest . Not much healthy options

We didn't expect a wet room and we found it a bit too much of a challenge.

We planned a one night two day walk down memory lane for us. Your premises were not far from the station and were close to the dockyard - the main focus of our visit. And we were not far from many restaurants. Our room looked over the gentle buzz of the area.

The cool breeze !!! but the sunshine kept going.

The location very central and handy plus the view was over looking the square and shops. Breakfast was plenty and good. Recommended.to anyone who is thinking of staying. Usual time check out is 11am but has the option to check out at 1pm which suited us better. Before checking out for 1pm check to see that your card still works as ours stopped just after 11am went to reception and staff was more than happy to add more time on it and was apologetic.

Awful breakfast not much choice no service badly cooked just like a works canteen. Dirty sloppy no effort at all. Bad layout. The location was lovely. Would not visit again.

The pillows, even after they had been changed it was still like sleeping in a waffle. Holiday Inn always had a pillow menu, and I know everyone is cutting back, but come on, guys, sleep is so important to everyone!

Motorcycle parking arrangements perfect. Location on waterfront very good. Breakfast good quality generally

We were booked into an accessible room which we hadn’t wanted specifically. Orange juice at breakfast more like squash. Would have liked choice of eggs as only scrambled available

Breakfast excellent. Coffee was great for machine-made. Room excellent, staff very attentive, we even got a free ice cream when we arrived, and the lady on reception was lovely. She showed us a list of places on Gunwharf Quays, that gave discounts on showing them your room card, (which we took advantage of, and saved £8.50 on our evening meal !). We also got parking for free in the Gunwharf Quays car park.So the pricey cost of the room was somewhat alleviated by these savings.

The room price was (much) more than we are used to paying at a Holiday Inn Express However, we sucked it up because of the location.

Toilet handle broken couldn’t flush it without several tries. Had booked well in advance but was given an adjoining room which was noisy and felt unsafe. Shower leaked under fixed screen to where you sat on the toilet. The bar snacks offered were minimal because of running out

The location of the property was excellent easy walk to Spinnaker and other attractions

We will located on the first floor and our view was onto a far escape so not very nice room was okay but not as described in pictures with cushions and bed runners very basic

Booked a double bed only to be given 2 singles and told it was fully booked so they couldn’t fix it. Was extremely loud at night in the hallway with people yelling. Was woken up in the morning by the next door neighbours tv as the door between us was the only thing separating.

Lady at reception was very helpful. Literally walk outside hotel and you are at the shops and bars and restaurants.

We were told the first morning that they would get us fried eggs when we asked. The staff member did not return with said eggs so we had scrambled. The next morning we were advised by another staff member that they did not ever serve friend eggs. We stood waiting for 10 minutes the first morning so that was very annoying and a waste of time

Location was very conviennent. Breakfast was lovely and manager overseeing was helpful.

Lots staff were unpleasant and cold. Lady who checked us in felt patronising. Another staff member tutted us when we had trouble with the lift. Bathroom was mouldy. Floor around toilet was dusty / dirty. Pillows were stained.

Excellent for shopping trip.
