It was a wonderful location, set in the bush and the cottage itself was super-modern with beautiful kitchen, loungeroom and bed. Great shower.
There was a bit of a problem with the toilet seat, which Brett immediately came and fixed.

Loved the privacy, nature and wifi/ Netflix. Totally relaxing!
4.7
beautiful secluded location to enjoy the quiet & nature . All the comforts included
Breakfast with the fresh farm produce was wonderful. The mushrooms & tomatoes 🍅 had exceptional taste.
Air conditioning a plus as the days were very hot.
Had to walk down from the road entry at night . Some sensor or solar lights would have made it easier

Love the serenity of each cabin, with the woods right outside. A lovely couple runs the property, they were great to meet and very friendly. We got to see wild kangaroos and wallabies on the property. the hot tub was definitely a highlight! sightseeing activists are typically about 30 mins away.
Not much, it was a typical cabin in the woods. very clean, could smell the polish when we walked in. the book says to not drink the water, so bring your own bottled water for consumption.

located in a really nice peaceful area. the owners were very friendly and gave good recommendations on local wine tour (Hunter Wine Journey) to join as well as walking trails we could hike in the vicinity. the welcome basket was filled with enough food for 2-3 days of breakfast (for 2pax). I also love the hot tub. while my mobile phone had limited network in the area, the wifi at the cabin was good.
nil. it was as per photos, description and reviews.

A great place to escape your busy life. We enjoyed a few unforgettable days here. The spa is very nice, and the big breakfast basket is really convenient for us. A must-go/stay cottage, recommend to couples or groups of friends.
No mobile signal, but good wifi is provided in the cottage.

Stunning, quiet location with everything we needed available. The spa was a highlight and a real treat. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful with suggestions when asked.
Nothing.

This is fabulous accommodation in a wonderful setting. We were able to have a relaxing weekend with my partner’s parents for the Andrea Bocelli concert. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to stay here again.

amazing property and perfectly located if seeking time away in the wilderness. the cottages had everything we needed to spend the weekend being close enough to Pokilbin and Cessnock.

Everything! Comfortable, private, spacious and clean. Breakfast supplies were greatly appreciated and the sound Of the bellbirds was delightful. We hope to return again soon. Thank you for a pleasant stay

Cosy little cabin. Nice environment, extremely quiet and very dark at night with sounds of nature around and lightening show one night. Spa was on when we arrived and fire was made up ready to go. TV was functional. Linen good; white towels were plush and clean.
The property details at the time of booking included a line “Meal plan” with the notation “Breakfast is included in the final price” it transpired breakfast was only for the first night. The information in the message sent a few days prior by the property detailed the breakfast basket would be part of the rate but did not stipulate only for the first night! The “breakfast basket” was fine including two medium eggs, p.p. sealed pack of bacon, Coles sourdough loaf and some mushrooms/tomatoes, UHT small milkpacks x 2. Tea selection was fine – coffee was limited to two types of pods and perhaps variety including a decaffeinated option might be optimal. We did need to ask for more coffee pods and thought perhaps this might have included a top up of all breakfast items but realised not. A family however on a budget (and/or need more supplies) this could make a difference and the supermarket is a drive away (some of the roads can be uneven and we encountered roadworks in our travels of the area). General consensus was the mattresses were not so comfortable. Prior to check in at reception and Cabin 3 (down slope/further away) we were told on arrival there was no phone reception but we might be lucky if we were up nearer the house; this could have been better detailed prior. Also no internet coverage may be a consideration especially with families/work etc.
The lack of dry firewood/kindling (very small amount in the barrel outside; on the veranda) proved to be difficult to light a fire requiring more firelighters (and we are used to fire). The wood stack is located between cottages 3 and 4 is not completely contained so some of the wood was damp. when we requested more kindling the response was “I generally pick up the kindling around the cottage so will collect a pile for you” and we did find some which was good as when the fire did take it added to the comfort and ambiance.

The breakfast basket was a nice addition to our stay. We found we had all the equipment we needed.
The cold - but we’re greatful for the fire and facilities provided.

Breakfast, log fire, bbq, spa were all amazing! So quiet, it was perfect.
Something in the house was giving us hay fever. I suspect the couches had dust mites. The couches were also really uncomfortable. We would love to come back but only if the couches were replaced. Everything else was perfect!

seclusion and open space
4.7
Idyllic location and lovely accommodation. The breakfast basket was perfect and everything was just right for a self- contained family get away.
4.7
Relaxation, privacy and seclusion.
Provisions for a tasty cooked breakfast on the first morning.
Kitchen is well equipped if you choose to shop and prepare additional meals at the cottage. Otherwise plenty of restaurants 20-30 minutes away for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many are co-located with winery cellar doors.
Spa was wonderful.

The cottage was simply but very tastefully furnished, with everything we needed for a restful and rejuvenating stay. It was special to sit on the verandah in the morning watching the sun come up over the mountain through the gum trees, and to enjoy a glass of local wine in front of the wood fire at night.
The property is located in the loveliest part of the Hunter Valley, Mount View, still forested and home to lots of wildlife (a kangaroo greeted us on arrival!). We were serenaded by bellbirds and whip birds.
The hosts Jannene and Brett who live on the property couldn’t have been more accommodating.
Another bonus was the proximity to Bistro Molines, which we think is the best restaurant in the Valley!
The only downside was that mobile reception is poor- my husband’s Telstra phone worked but my Vodaphone didn’t!
The property is not right in the centre of the wineries, but only a short drive away.

peaceful quite location and we loved the outdoor spa
