We stayed in one of the lodges which was well equipped. It's just a 10 minute walk into Picton. The staff are great too.

It was a bit tired, some other guests were a bit noisy.

The room was like a shed.
There was no water.
It was $160 for a bed in a garden shed.
The shed had an unpleasant smell that was overwhelming.
To be charged 160 for a bed in a garden shed.
To be overwhelmed by the pong.
To leave and drive the 5 hours to Christchurch that night
because the accommodation was not fit for purpose.
To waste my precious time and money on accommodation not fit for purpose.

Games room would be better if didn't have to pay to use game tables or maybe have an option to incorporate a small fee onto your stay to use game tables. Kids enjoyed it.

Great quiet location close to town and the marina.

Everything was very clean and tidy.
Bed it was too soft for me. There was only one shower and one toilet working in the block that was closest to my room. Be aware that it is advertised as a pet friendly accommodation, if you are renting a room like a cabin for example, the property will ask you to keep your furry one locked into a cage inside the room during the length of your stay, which at least for me is awkward

The car parks were too small and hard to manoeuvre around - beware if you have a SUV or slightly larger car

Mattress on bed had a massive dip in it and was way to soft and uncomfortable, struggled to get a half decent sleep
