Staff were very friendly

Distance to any serveries such as eateries although I note they do operate a restaurant Fri,Sat.

The hotel is very well maintained and the rooms were very comfortable. The ethos of rhe business is something we wanted to support and our whole experience was great.

The restaurant was a bit cold. The restaurant menu didn't have many choices.

The location was excellent. I really appreciate the ethos of the hotel as it endeavours to give everyone an opportunity for employment. This training scheme is excellent and has been successful in other countries too.

I do think that there should be some mention of the enterprise as a training facility as well as an historic building. Guests who do not know the background may not understand the little glitches that happen.

The amazing staff and how positive and friendly everyone was. The dinner was delicious, thank you to the Chef, Bill and to our amazing waiter Reggie! We appreciated how clean the room was, basic and simple but enough for us.

The fire alarm went off at random above our room on Saturday night, set my husband and I into quite a panic mid sleep. False alarm thankfully. In all honesty, there really wasn't much we disliked about the hotel.

Beautiful place with friendly staff.

It is a lovely old hotel run by wonderful people. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the dinner was delicious and there was good beer on tap. Our standard room was very comfortable and had a great bath, perfect for a soak after a day of walking. I would definitely stay here again.

The history of the building and how its been preserved makes it really special. The room was very comfortable.

The ‘exceptional’ continental breakfast was quite disappointing, considering the price. As the building is old it does have a bit of a old musty smell to it and a little bit run down.

From the moment we checked in we were made to feel like family and not just another guest. We were shown around the property, informed of the history and what was happening that night. We were also informed of the wonderful work they do with supporting young people by equal opportunity and training.

The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was also very nice. Highly recommend having dinner on a Saturday night. The hotel is located near Victoria falls, Sunset Rock Lookout and the Hanging Rock, very nice if you are hiking too.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, felt so welcomed and was asked how our day was abseiling which showed how much they care about their guest. The place was so cute and comfy for our stay. It was good value for money and the facilities were amazing.
