We were very pleased overall with our VRBO. All was clean and comfortable. The beach was beautiful, it would have been nice to have the cafe open for food and drinks on site. The pool was very nice, again the bar area should have been open as advertised. Pictures are not up to date on website. A few updates could be done in the bathroom. Kitchen sink needs better water pressure. I would not hesitate to come back again. View from balcony is beautiful. Thank you for a great week. Stan and Terry Ridderbusch

Enjoyed our stay, comfortable, clean and cozy! We spent most days out on adventures, and back at dinner time; lovely views of morning sunrises and evening sunsets! Quiet and peaceful! Highly recommended to other travelers. My husband enjoyed the nearby bakery!! And Key lime Pie! I recommend the restaurant “What the Fish?” Location was perfect for our adventures- Everglades, Biscayne, etc

Great view and great location! Condo was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. We enjoyed our 2 week stay and would definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area.

Nice and very clean place - grounds are very nice.

The property was clean. It look right out to the ocean, however the water can not be accessed directly from the condo. There is a protected green space between the condo and the ocean. The condo was a good size for two people, there is not extra space. In fact, we needed to leave our empty suitcase in the hall. You can walk to the beach (water was too cold to swim) and the pool is directly across from the condo. Pool was wonderful. People were social and beverages are allowed. The Tiki hut is not open. We did our food shopping at the Winn-Dixie (1 mile away). Many great restaurants right on the beach. We would 100% recommend.

Clean, quiet, bed was not a queen but a full/double. Comfortable but smaller than expected. Linen including beach towels was nice to have.

This unit had everything we needed for a week-long stay. It was clean. Check-in was a breeze. The pool was beautiful. We would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great time. The property although dated is well maintained and clean. The Owner is absolutely awesome and accommodating and willing to help. We really enjoyed the pier and gazebo in the mornings watching sunrise. It was absolutely perfect for me and the wife. We will be back.

The condo is very nice and comfortable. Small balcony but it's all we needed to enjoy the beautiful view. Our host was very responsive when we had an issue with retrieving the passcode. I highly recommend this property.

Very clean and the bed and sofas were very comfortable.The staff was very friendly. Had everything we needed and was convenient to dining, shopping and activities. Beautiful sunrises from the private pier and a nice little beach and gathering area by the marina. Great view of the water and mangroves and its wildlife from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved the place. Our first visit to the Keys and it won’t be our last. Allyson’s place was just as described but better. Can’t wait to come back!

The location in Key Largo was perfect! Excellent amenities and private beach. Owner connected us with Captain Pete for deep sea fishing and then with the local restaurants to cook our catch. Location perfect for scuba diving the reef as well!!!

Very attentive owner and impeccable home

The appartement was perfect. I was there with my husband for 6 days and we had everything we needed. The pool area is a really nice. The place was also very clean. The location was great for us to visit the Keys and the Everglades too. Allyson was great. She give us all the information necessary in advance. She also give us great restaurants suggestions. We would go back for sure!

The location of Ocean Pointe Suites is secluded, quiet and off the main drag (much appreciated). We loved that!!! You feel the calmness as you drive in the entry way. PROS: The view is AMAZING!!! Nothing like it anywhere...just beautiful and natural. You have a private (very small, enough for 2 chairs) balcony with an awesome view on the Seaside. TV was large and owner left clear directions ( a must). Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, plates, utensils, appliances etc. everything you would need. Washer and Dryer right in the unit was a life saver (we packed too many clothes...not needed). The couch and love seat were very comfortable. AC is great, although ...honestly we rarely needed it...some days we did not use it at all..some days just for an hour or two from 4 - 6pm. It was wam outside (approx. 76-79 degrees) but the breeze from the patio/seaside offered a very nice comfort level and fresh air. CONS: People in the condo units around us were smokers...that meant we had to close off our balcony to prevent the smoke from entering the unit. Wish the entire place was SMOKE FREE! The balcony sliding glass door worked fine and there was a screen door that we used every day and night...one problem...the screen door was ripped and damaged. Luckily , the bugs were not bad. The photos on the listing are old or previous owners. There is not a connection between the bedroom and the bathroom (as shown in the photos) making the bed room warmer than the rest of the unit and not allow of air flow reaching the bedroom...so a bit stuffy. Concerning the pool area...No one seemed to follow the rules. That was very frustrating. People would come early the morning, grabbed some prime chairs, tables and lounges and put their towels on them to "save them" then they left within minutes and did not return until 2 - 3 (or more) hours later. This is against the pool rules as listed...I wish someone reinforced this. People would come looking for a place to sit and all you could see were chairs with towels. Very discouraging and not fiar. Also concerning pool rules...there was not suppose to be any food/eating at the pool or drinking in the hot tub. People would bring in coolers and have a full spread out lunch there, sandwiches, dip, salads, full meals etc....also drinking beer in the hot tub. Also not follow the 15 minute rule in the hot tub..some people stayed there for an hour (drinking beer) and kids were in the pool and hot tub without adult supervision.

We had never been to the Florida Keys before. After a weekend Key West, we were ready to kick back and relax. Tavernier was the perfect to do this. The building had an elevator. There were luggage trolleys to make unloading a breeze. The 1-bedroom unit was spacious, The WiFi, cable TV and central air worked great. There was a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. The property had a small but adequate beach as well as a large, heated pool. There was also a county park and beach within walking distance. There was a shopping center not far from the property and several good restaurants in easy driving distance. Additional amenities were charcoal grills and a food truck on site daily. The relatively easy access to Miami Interantional Airport was a bonus.

Had a great time in the Florida Keys. Well kept condo. Clean and very functional. Great location to both Miami and the lower keys.

Small but comfortable and convenient. Nice pool and beautiful view of waterfront Balcony is a bit small and could use a dresser in bedroom. Overall very nice.

Not sure what everyone was complaining about , but this place is great , clean and tidy, yes it is smaller but the listing and pictures show that , it's a great place , great for a couple and close to a bunch of great places in the area..

Was a great place to stay! Close to highway 1. We like going to Islamorada and Key largo everything was just a short drive. Has a nice size pool and also ocean access. Only thing would be nice to be able to get a cup of coffee in the morning.... otherwise everything was great!

Most of the pics are of the grounds, which is fine, but more of the inside would be good. We have stayed at some other units in this same complex, and this one wasn’t as nice as those others. The quality of the workmanship isn’t as high as the others. Still a great complex to stay at, and would rent this one again.

Another traveler commented that they have stayed in several places in the Keys and this is the only property far enough fom the main road to get away from the traffic noise. That is important to my husband. Glad it worked out for us. The unit is great. Very comfortable. Very clean. Love having a number code to unlock the door so we don't have to carry a key around. The owner always responded to communications quickly with accurate information. And made good recommendations for the area. Best amenity: The pool area is large with lots of seating and shade. The pool bar was open every time we were there, and although the drinks were pricey, they were excellent and definitely got your money's worth - boozy.

Our trip got cut short due to a hurricane, it’s a nice place.. needs some updates. Had no toilet paper and there really is know where to keep your luggage. Other than that it’s fine. Lots of stray cats and raccoons on the property, not sure if it’s normal or not. Pool is very very nice, beach is not great at all.

The thermostat was permanently fixed to not dip below 72. The beds were not what were advertised. I reached out to the owner, the complex said they would be happy to move us but the owner would have to release our lease. She doubled down and said the bed was a queen (a queen size bed is 60 inches this bed measured a little over 57 in, it did not cover the queen box spring under it, a full is 56 in), and said that no unit in the complex could be cooled past 72 degrees. I spoke to the front desk who assured me this was not the case and they had no clue why she would make such claims, they told me the lowest setting on most units was 65 degrees (that they were aware of). We have a decent size home in an area that routinely hits higher temps than where we were and my home is able to be cooled to 68 (which is our normal evening setting). To top it off we kept smelling this terrible smell all week and could not figure out where it was coming from. On the last night we were there, I found what appeared to be rancid rotten mushrooms and scallops sitting in the oven. After trying to sleep in bed with my husband in the bedroom the first night, I couldn't walk (combo of too small of bed, bedroom staying warmer than I am used to, and much warmer than the common area of 72 degrees, and the bed just not being comfortable), so I stayed on the pull out the rest of the week. Good news- I could walk (barely), bad news- I didn't get hardly any sleep the entire week. The claims on the VRBO listing regarding beds need to be changed. The beds truly are that terrible. The pull out was just as terrible as one could imagine a pull out could be. We have stayed numerous times at this complex and the staff are always very friendly. Allyson seemed friendly enough before our trip, she came very close to ruining our vacation, which to me is pretty rotten and shows a ton about her character. We never asked for a refund on any nights we stayed, we simply needed to switch units to something like what we signed up for. We farm and are unable to get away often. We were both just happy to get home yesterday and get a decent night's rest on a decent bed. As a bonus, I had to cancel my planned dive on Saturday as there was no way I could put my gear on and dive. My husband had to sit the second dive out on his schedule due to same reasons. We are very fit, athletic people. Sleeping in this unit wrecked us. Being thoughtful of guest comfort, should be a concern.

We had a great stay at Ocean Point Suites. Property was as listed and was perfect for two people. A larger party should consider the two bedroom units but other than that we had a great stay. The grounds and pool area are all very nice. If your bringing a boat this is a good place to consider as they have a boat ramp and trailer storage which is not easy to come by in the middle keys! Great Place!!

The condo was lovely with a spectacular view and great location. Owner has a well stocked kitchen for your cooking pleasure. Also beach chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful views.

Great location for wedding that was held in Islamorada Fish Company. Had a great time. Pool was awesome. Had some problems with dishwasher but we managed.

Was quiet, beautiful view of ocean. All the comforts of home.
