I never gave low point for a hotel before. This is my first time for the 15 years that had a bad experience with any hotel. 1, it is only a garden house, the room is very small. even for a couple, it is very small. if a family is travelling, you'd better not live here and go somewhere else. 2， the owner charged security deposit 50 EUR, he promised he would return the deposit. then I asked if he has any special requirement, he answered "no". however, the next day, he said that we didn't clean enough, and take our extra 50 Euro. I am feeling like he is cheating money. even 50Euro is not too much, but feel very bad. please don't pay him security deposit before you arrive.

Very cozy little apartment, and the kids loved the bed in the attic. There was really good communication, and suggestions for playground for the kids.

Location is close to Verdun and the room was suitable for a family. Parking is free and close to the apartment. The area is quiet and safe.

Communication was sent in French when the website says that the host speaks English. I was told check in time would be delayed only a day before arrival. A list of items to be cleaned to include the toilet and sinks was furbished and linked to what was described as a damage deposit on the website.

Very clean and tidy, well equipped just outside the main part of verdun but a couple minute drive lovely and quite. Made to feel very welcome by owner and lots of information and help when needed.
