This property is unbelievable in so many ways from the bottom of the driveway up to the backyard oasis and everything in between. My family of eight felt at home even though the property itself is large. We could’ve played hide and go seek in there if we wanted to. And the views from every single window seem as though they were perfectly placed to see the surroundings of the beautiful desert untouched dessert. We were able to watch the sunrise and the sunset from the patio and even caught some monsoons quenching the summer heat. The skyline view we had on the patio dinner table was priceless! Two of my adult children are chefs and they put very good use to the state of the art kitchen. There were so many amenities that one could not complain and to top it off, our gracious host, Ronald was like one of the family answering all the questions and helping us with anything that we needed making us all feel at home! I would 100% bring my family back here again and again! Thanks for all the memories Ronald!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Saguaro Canyon. The home was clean and well-maintained and was just as described in the listing.
We found plenty of activities to keep ourselves busy, but the pool was the star of our trip. After exploring in the mornings, we'd spend much of the afternoon just chilling in the back yard, enjoying the pool and the views. Highly recommended!
One note: Google Maps shows a loop around the neighborhood, but this is misleading since some of the loop is private property. Nevertheless, there are plenty of trails in the area if you want to go for a walk.

We were in town for college baseball spring training at Kino Sports Complex. The house was perfect location and offered plenty of space to relax and recharge. Convenient groceries and restaurants near by as well. Ron was easy to work with and house is as advertised!

The house was in a beautiful location with excellent views. It needed some repairs/updates. You couldn’t call it 4 bedrooms as the 4th bedroom had no door/closet or dresser. It seemed to need a good cleaning inside, We had problems with the electrical, the bathtubs needed repair and had broken cabinets drawers in the kitchen.

Nice place near west saguaro np. Its expensive but comfortable and convenient. Lovely area. Really 3 bedrooms since 4th has no door. Great if you can handle the cost or for couples sharing a room.

We had a really great time at this property. The location is great and the views are fantastic. The owner (Ron) was super responsive to any questions we had and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house has a great layout and was stocked with everything we could have possible needed. We would stay here again.

Excellent Tucson desert getaway. Nice outdoor living space with awesome views of the mountains, desert and lights of Tucson below. House was clean, beds were comfortable and communication with Ron couldn't be easier. The pool and hot tub were a great place to relax and soak in all that beauty. It felt like we were out in the country but stores and restaurants were only a short drive away. We will definitely consider coming back if our path leads us to the area again.

Ron was outstanding as a hot with seamless access and outstanding accommodations! Ron provides excellent coffee beans to a top-of the line coffee maker, appliances are all state-of-the-art and easy to use. We cooked with the chef's kitchen, with nearly every spice and utensil imaginable! Nice touch welcome package, beautiful pool, and pool table. We enjoyed our visit and will be back soon!

The property is lovely with a beautiful setting. We spent a week here. Enjoyed the pool tremendously. Cooked many meals. Went hiking a few days. It feels remote but you are in a gated community. Beds were comfortable and tv entertainment was superb. I highly recommend this place. The owner was responsive and helpful.

We had an excellent week in Tucson with this property serving as a clean, comfortable, safe, and accomodating home base. Our time on the outdoor patios and pool was amazing with scenic escalated views of the sonoran desert landscape. Our time in the home allowed us to escape the heat and find either our own space (e.g. taking a nap, reading a book) or community spaces (e.g. watching movies, playing pool, cooking meals) to enjoy time together. The location of the property was especially convenient to navigate to the Desert Museum, Old Tucson Studios, and Saguaro National Park (west). We would wholeheartedly recommend this property. Thank you, Ron, for being an accessible host and sharing your home with us!

This was an amazing property, picturesque desert landscape. Ron our host was super helpful, easy to work with. His place has high end appliances, well-stocked to cook. So appreciated not having to buy or go without spices, oils for cooking. Loved our stay there, would go back.

Our family spent a really fun spring break by the pool on this amazing property. Private but not too remote, we spent time at the house enjoying the pool, hot tub and pool table. The Desert Museum and downtown Tucson were not far and we took a couple of day trips further into the desert as well. The house is equipped with an amazing kitchen, multiple bathrooms and bedrooms and lots of room for family fun inside and out. The house was immaculately clean and the owner was responsive, helpful and friendly. We had a great trip!

My family and I visited Tucson for a couple of nights and I am extremely happy that I came across Ron and his home. We loved the views and outdoor seating areas. The heated pool was amazing. We spent most of our time outdoors.
The kitchen and bedrooms are a very nice touch. The beds are very comfortable and the home is well stocked with supplies.
Ron was a pleasure to work with. He made the check-in and check-out process very easy. 5-stars all around!!

As a frequent traveler I'm renting houses all the time, and this house at Trails End truly exceeded my expectations on just about every level. For starters it's located in a gorgeous area with epic views of the mountains/desert. It feels and looks remote, yet you're only 10-15 mins from town.
I was extremely pleased with all the amenities in this house. The kitchen was beautiful and beyond stocked with super nice, high-end appliances. We really enjoyed cooking there!!
I enjoyed the massive flat screen in the living room and our master bedroom had a big flat screen too...that's something you rarely see in rentals.
The beds were super comfortable with soft bedding. I slept well every night. Another thing that stood out to me were the nice hot showers! Yes, the water actually gets HOT and lasts which I found very nice since I enjoy hot showers.
We spent a lot of time on the outdoor patio and pool area, which was great! Its also well equipped with furniture, tables and a grill. Oh, wildlife! It was amazing...one day we saw a beautiful Bob cat stroll by...we also saw Quails the same day.
The house really had a lot of nice touches that I don't typically see when I rent houses (and I rent nice places).
Ron the homeowner was very helpful and attentive even though we really never needed anything.
This house is not "bare bones" like so many other houses I've rented. It's stocked with most everything you'll need, and it has many of the comforts like your own home.
Thanks again! We'll definitely be back!

Property needs a bit of love, a lot of stuff just laying around, pool equipment, buckets, yard tools. The A/C was locked at 73 which was barrable but at times not. A lot of ware and tare on the house, time to put some work back into it.

Toasty Tucson
Beautiful area, quiet except for guy next door running his blower and other garden equipment when we were out by pool. I was disappointed about decks to master bedroom not being clean, 1 dish towel to dry dishes and no pool cover. I'm not sure we'd stay there again.

Christmas in the desert
We enjoyed a week in this lovely mountain villa. Three adult children and parents together for hiking in the winter desert. The house was perfect for our needs, lots of space, great bedrooms for each person, fabulous view across the Tucson valley, fully equipped kitchen. We took off each day to a different destination for hiking. The southern route to Mount Wassam in the western part of the national park was our favorite. 20 minute drive to the trail head.

Fabulous Tucson Getaway
We had a wonderful experience! Ronald was very welcoming and helpful, it was very easy to contact him with any questions and we appreciated all of his help! The house and the area are amazing, tucked up in the Tucson Mtn area, "today is another beautiful day in Tucson" was my favorite quip every morning. The house and property are lovely, with my dream kitchen! So many spaces to relax and enjoy the views, nature, sunrise and sunset. Also, it's conveniently close to excellent hiking trails and the Sonora Desert Museum, as well as a great biking area. We had many adventures!

Wonderful Stay in Tucscon
This was an amazing property. The view was spectacular. We used the pool every day, cooked, grilled, and enjoyed the outdoor seating every day. Beds were extremely comfortable. It was like being at a resort. Owner met us and then stopped by to check on the pool, etc.
Great experience ! Highly recommend.

A relaxing, beautiful property!
My husband and I spent a delightful, relaxing week here with another couple and the house layout was perfect for us. We each had our own side of the house and we found it to be nice and quiet - even if someone woke up early or stayed up late the others weren't disturbed. The nice large kitchen was also great for multiple cooks to operate in - the huge island was particularly helpful for prep. We spent the bulk of our time sitting on the back porch absorbing the beautiful views or by the pool absorbing the sun -- basically, the perfect vacation.
Other reviews have mentioned it, but the beds were super comfy with several pillow options. And each bedroom had nice dark curtains to block out the sun if you wanted to sleep in or nap.
Ron was friendly, easy to communicate with and very welcoming. He recommended a nice hiking trail to us nearby that we enjoyed. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Tucson!
(PS - The nearby Titan Missile Museum is a fun, unique glimpse into the Cold War.)

Great views in west Tucson
The place was over our expectations. If you know Tucson, it's hard to get a place with better views or access to undisturbed desert hiking sight-seeing than this place. There were minor things that could be tightened up (bad fan in a bathroom, some exposed pipes), that made it feel a little more like a rental -- but the fundamental house, location, and attention to the things that really matter to people renting was outstanding. A great example were the portable evaporative coolers on the porch, which made it usable all day in the middle of summer! I plan to rent there again if I can.

Worst experience ever!
This property is not what is advertised. 1. The hot tub was dirty and host asked if we were going to use it? Yes!! He did say he would come back to clean it.
3. The grilled was unusable. 4. There are 4 bedrooms but he had only 2 ready for us. There was only a handful of towels in the cabinets. There was a load of things in the dryer when we arrived. 5. Pool was disgusting. It was dirty and a rat was floating in the filter. When we text host to ask about having it cleaned. He text back that we could find another house and he would refund us. He had no other help for us. We arrived around 6pm and we were 900 miles from home. Within 10 minutes, host arrived and cancelled our reservation. So around 7 we were headed into Tucson with no place to stay. So….don’t stay here. I also have pictures of all the gross stuff!!
