There is ample free parking in front of the hotel and the rooms are very spacious. Built in a kind of Brutalist style (which I like) the hotel is a 15 mins walk from the centre of Faenza. The lobby of the hotel is also spacious and is home to a number of Vespa scooters, a delightfully quirky touch. The management were very friendly and helpful. The recommended restaurant, Cucina Briganti, was superb with reasoable prices and a wide menu choice including pizza and regional dishes.

WiFi wasn't working. Unacceptable in 2022 would have left but was stuck there. Had a nice bar but wasn't staffed at 21.00 when I arrived The bed was hard, had a thin mattress. Breakfast was not impressive. Passport were collected at check inn, and given back on check out even though I had paid in advance through booking.com

Polite personal, breakfast offers sufficient choice for everyone, but nothing spectacular. Wifi works well. Big parking place, bidet in bathroom, fridge with minibar.

Restaurant is closed, 700m is the closest one. Cavallino is worn three star hotel, definitely not 4 stars as booking com suggests.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was very clean and quite large. Breakfast was nice also. Good selection. Nice atmosphere in the hotel.

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned and you notice this in the elevator or other details but it has all the right amenities and functions like a proper 4 star hotel. I was met with surprise and suspicion when I enquired if I could have a room with a double, queen or French bed instead of a single bed (I had reserved a double for single use) and was finally offered the option to switch after they clarified that my rate specifically applied to double room with single beds (even if the photos had both options). The bed could not be exchanged without increasing the rate by a small amount (just surprised hotels would offer these to adults as never happened before) however the single bed was actually very comfortable and all was fine.
