Breakfast was very good, nice choice and served in light and spacious conservatory. Noticed that numbers of locals also came for the breakfast! Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious with a lovely view , staff were friendly and helpful.

Evening menu a ‘ pub grub ‘ selection but many would like that.

Not so keen on the heating system in the bedroom...

This hotel had a perfect beachfront location, close to multiple restaurants and the harbour market. the staff were great and were really accommodating with our dog. We had both breakfast and dinner at the property, dinner was good but breakfast was great and very generous.

Although the double room I had was very clean and nicely decorated, the tv and heater was not working.

the shower started dripping early morning on both nights for no reason which woke us up and we had to get up to turn it off.

Poor Menu pub grub. No variation set menu lunch and dinner very basic cheap quality food. A chefs special would have been an alternative.

Staff were very helpful, For a Sea View room would have expected larger window, Free parking. Right next to the beach.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout from the reception desk, housekeeping and restaurant/bar staff. They all really made a huge effort to be friendly and it created such a pleasant atmosphere. The view from the rooms was amazing. The restaurant and bar felt light and airy, breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. We had a lovely stay and will be sure to return.

Couldn't fault it

We stayed in a city view room, it was Spacious clean & comfy. All staff were very accommodating and made us feel at home. We stayed with our dog and felt very welcome, even receiving guidance on which beaches are dog friendly near the hotel. Great breakfast and lovely short stroll into town, fantastic seafront location and ample free parking outside the hotel. We also ate dinner in the hotel which was tasty with good quality wine. Looking forward to returning and trying a sea view room!

Couldn’t fault our stay, would maybe suggest having the dog friendly rooms on ground floor level if possible but not the end of the world.

The sea view of course amazing, the bed was very comfortable.

We really felt let down by the fact not enough attention to detail so we found a half empty shower gel bottle provided and to be honest for the price we Paid you can do a lot better, other than a feeling that the room was not as clean as it could be your biggest issue is the Wi-Fi. Wow this needs to be improved! It was was terrible and in this day and age travellers want this and I asked my wife would she want to stay with you again and the answer was no due to the Wi-Fi. Also as an observation the way staff organise themselves re bar, restaurant is just chaotic. I sat in the bar one night and saw 3 people who had eaten in the restaurant have to come to the bar to ask for the bill. Even this morning my wife and I waited for 10 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted tea or coffee despite giving our room number to the person who was one of the staff on service. Also please tell your staff not to moan about customers when people are in ear shot and please get them organised to look after one station of customers
