Location v nice. Breakfast and food in general very tasty. Staff lovely, welcoming and friendly. Old building so unreasonable expect state of the art comforts. All tv channels worked!! I felt welcome.

A very friendly welcome from all the staff on arrival and at breakfast. The room was very comfortable and our evening meal and breakfast were lovely.

A couple of menu items were not available but not a major issue as everything else was great.

Quiet location within easy reach of the tourist attractions. Very friendly welcome, lovely spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were excellent.

Breakfast was excellent. Food in the evenings very good also although a few item on the menu unavailable. Plenty of parking and ideal base to visit different areas. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

Visited in winter hours so bar last orders were 9.30pm which was quite early.

Dog-friendly clean and comfortable rooms. Exceptionally polite and friendly service. Fantastic value for money.

Ok Inn very clean and very good room, and very good breakfast but that's where it stops

When we arrived around 5.30pm told bar and restaurant were closed, if I had known this I would not had booked as nowhere was walkable. Should have been told this before we arrived, only one other guest there who we met at breakfast he had the same problem . Find somewhere else.

Breakfast was good. Room was fine. Very quiet location.

Disappointed that bar closed at 5 in afternoon on Sunday and food stopped at 3. Was told it was management decision made according to how many residents hotel had that day. Apparently we were the only guests. Had planned for a day out and diner in the evening. Had to replan the day and then spend Sunday evening in our room as everything was closed.

I didn't like anything the room offered had no windows I refused to stay there still awaiting a refund from yourself

I’m being picky, room service?

Cozy rooms, comfortable beds and very hospitable staff. Kids were delighted with complimentary hot chocolate in the room.

Bathroom could be better. Basin has two separate taps instead of mixer so it is impossible to get mildly warm water. Similarly, it was hard to set and keep temperature in the shower. A hook for towel would be helpful too.

Water could have been hotter

Breakfast included in the overnight price. Good coffee, full English breakfast on offer. We tried the smashed avocado on toast with poached egg, unfortunately not memorable for the right reasons. Otherwise a pleasant stay for one night.

if you stay in room two 2 , the walls are paper thin and you can hear every word, every breath and it’s very disturbing.

Bathroom ok but looking on the tired side, light didn’t work, blind when rolled down was filthy Food was very standard, wrongly advertised and did not meet our expectation Breakfast self serve was scruffy and juice jugs empty, cleaner hoovered throughout our breakfast which is extremely rude, she had mopped when we left which was not great for health & safety - do it before breakfast service!
