Beau studio Riverside / au-dessus d'un garage, privé, isolé, semi-isolé. Situé sur la rivière Kennebec. Un studio spacieux avec vue sur la rivière Kennebec, à deux pas du bord de la rivière. Grande cuisine, comprend tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous sentir comme chez vous. Situé sur 10 acres privés, près du sentier des Appalaches et de la traversée de la rivière Kennebec. Entouré de bois et bordé par un ruisseau limpide. Si vous aimez le plein air, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut. Randonnée, vélo, pêche, rafting juste devant votre porte.
L'appartement a un lit king size, avec un lit de jour qui double comme un simple. La salle de bain complète est également remplie de serviettes, savon, shampoing, etc. et a une laveuse et une sécheuse pour votre usage. Les clients auront également accès à la rivière / au lac, à la pelouse / à la plage, au foyer, au gazebo avec hamac double, au stand up paddle (SUP), au canoë et au barbecue au propane.
Nous sommes au milieu d'un paradis pour les amateurs de plein air. Nous avons des tonnes de randonnées à proximité, des sommets des montagnes, des vues à couper le souffle ou des cascades, quoi que vous cherchiez. Le rafting est la grande industrie estivale ici, il y a plusieurs pourvoiries situées à moins de 8 km de chez nous. Pêcher juste devant la porte d'entrée, soit dans le lac, la rivière ou dans le ruisseau qui borde la propriété. Il y a aussi des pistes cyclables et pédestres. Nous sommes heureux de vous proposer des suggestions ou de vous faire visiter.

This is our 5th year going back to this rental. It is worth every penny. The kitchen is equipped with anything you will need, which makes it nice. Close to tubing and rafting and the river view is amazing. Thanks again!

You didn’t have to leave to find something to do with the river being at your backdoor. This was by far one of the best places my family and I have stayed over 10 years of vacations. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This apt is one of the most well-equipped we have stayed in and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Although communication provided excellent directions, it was after dark and I appreciated seeing my name on a chalkboard outside the entry door over a window box full of gorgeous flowers to confirm we were in the right place. The king bed was very comfortable! The twin was a bit too firm but that’s a preference. The couch was perfect to curl up on and there was a basket of throw blankets s well. Window AC cooled the place easily on the hot summer days we were there. Didn’t use the gas fireplace but can picture how cozy it would be. Many games and books for adults and kids and a smart tv with Netflix, etc. The kitchen wasn’t missing anything having even spices, oil, coffee, sugar and dried creamer. Loved the linens, including quality towels in the bathroom. Did one load of laundry - convenient! Best part was the quiet, beautiful setting in the woods right on the river. Although kayaks, a canoe, and swimming were all available we unfortunately couldn’t take advantage because my daughter ended up sick during our short stay but what a gorgeous spot! Excellent explicit info on the river’s current, etc provided if we had been able to. Loved being greeted by the adorable chickens every day. Hope we can come back some day to stay more than two nights and fully enjoy this special spot. Kim was incredibly helpful with suggestions and accommodating a late check out.

Amazing vacation! Mike and Kim have a beautiful property along the Kennebec River and are fabulous hosts. We had an amazing time and our daughter loved fishing and kayaking. She caught 3 small mouth bass! The river is gorgeous and the apartment is cozy and clean with all you need to have a great vacation. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Mike and Kim’s apartment is such a magical place. Apt is very clean and spacious. Beds are very comfortable. AC cools entire place (although we didn’t really need it). Lots of games and books available. Well equipped kitchen. The best was just being on the river though. Kayaking, canoeing, and swimming were all amazing. You feel isolated but it made me feel safe being a few feet from their home. Mike was very helpful! We used this as a base for rafting and hiking in the area and it was perfect!!!

We loved this place! Wish we had booked for a few more days so we could explore the area more. The location is serene by the Kennebec river. The studio apt. is really spacious, although a slightly larger shower stall would have been more comfortable. It was surprisingly tiny without a lot of places to put supplies. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. I gave communication with manager only 3 stars because we could not find the driveway and did not get a timely reply from him. It was frustrating to know we were close but the road sign name was too low to be seen from the road and the entrance to driveway was overgrown so that it did not look like an opening to drive through. In addition there was a road crew doing maintenance on the roadway.
For clarification, instead of saying across from the 'blinking moose sign' perhaps call it a flashing moose crossing sign. I expected the moose to be flashing but it was not.

Beautiful!
The location was exactly as described in the description. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. This was a weekend mom-cation get away for just me. It was quiet but beautiful. Walk to the river was easy and chairs and a little table are provided. Apartment had everything you could want as well as anything you may have forgotten to pack. I would love to come back soon with my husband!

Great location and GREAT OWNERS. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was perfect. Everything from the free range chickens that greeted us to all the available amenities and river view were perfect. I must admit that we had an issue of our own making, and the owners were so helpful in their response. They kept our vacation from having a negative turn. I can't thank them enough. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it here. A beautiful setting on the Kennebec, if you are looking for a peaceful, somewhat secluded retreat with hiking and river options nearby, this is the place!
We stayed with our teenage daughter (who loved the dog and the chickens) and the space was perfect.
There was a firepit and canoes available for use and the riverside hammock (screened in) so soothing.
Access to a fully kitted kitchen with some essentials left for you (spices, coffee/tea fixings) as well as a washer and dryer within the bathroom. Hair dryer and beach towels left for use, and the friendly and helpful hosts just across the parking area. Available but not intrusive!
A rafting company is less than 10 minutes away as was Moxie Falls and several restaurants. The Appalachian Trail was a quick canoe across the river.
All in all a wonderful vacation spot and highly recommend!

Our favorite VRBO yet!
This was our second visit to Mike and Kim's beautiful property. We love everything about this place. It has plenty of privacy. It is stocked really well. We always cook a full meal or two while we are there, so I can attest that the kitchen is great and has everything you would need. We look forward to going back as soon as we can. The location on the river is stunning. There are a ton of hikes in the area (we have done Moxie Falls but also just hiked Pleasant Pond Mountain on this trip). Highly recommend.

Great stay
This was a great place, located right on the Kennebec River. Mike and Kim are great hosts and the apartment space exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the paddle boards and campfire provided on site as well as being close to local hikes :)

Relaxing
Mike and Kim were excellent, responsive, and gracious hosts. The space was immaculate and the bed so comfortable! Mike was kind enough to bring wood, a lighter, and kindling to the fire pit for us, and both gave us recommendations as to where to go for the best swimming, etc. Beautiful and peaceful property on the river, with chickens and cats abounding!

Rainy getaway
The apartment was cozy and well equipped-perfect for a rainy Saturday. The riverfront was spectacular and we watched several hikers on the far bank await the AT ferry. While not ones to linger at our lodgings when we travel, Elaine and I can picture a return trip to spend time by the firepit with the river singing before us.
Mike and Kim provided a great list of resources that led us to a gem of a hike on Mosquito Mountain.

Intimate apartment along the Kennebec River
This was a cozy apartment in a family compound along the Kennebec River. We arose to the Eagle searching for fish along the river, hiked near the Appalachian trail and visited Moxie Falls. Great place to relax, enjoy nature and watch wildlife in their natural habitat.

An amazing place, a great host and a river, thats all we needed but this place and area hd so much more. Be sure to stay out late and enjoy the stars. Not many places yo can see the Milky Way lit up in the sky. Would recommend to anyone

Beautiful Maine Getaway
Mike and Kim's place was the perfect inland spot for a beautiful Maine vacation. It was extremely clean, well furnished, and the kitchen had all of the basic supplies we needed. It's a tranquil spot on the river with a comfortable hammock and fire pit overlooking the water. Almost no cell service, but the wifi was good. Highly recommend for a vacation away from the ocean. The property was squeaky clean, homey, comfortable, inviting and had every single thing available that we could have ever needed.The hosts went far over and above our expectations to make sure we were comfortable, and that we had an amazing stay. They were friendly and helpful, left us amazing suggestions for local food and activities, and made us feel extremely welcome. We had an issue with a slow leak in one tire of our rental car and our host stopped what he was doing on a Sunday afternoon and started up his compressor to air up our tire. We absolutely recommend this property for any type or length of stay. The property is beautiful, comfortable, safe and clean. The hosts have taken care of every detail and were super to work with through every step of the process.

Mike and Kims place was just what we were looking for. The place was absolutely beautiful. We had use of Canoes, paddle boards and kayaks. Kim even told us about an eagles nest along the Kennebec River. The apartment was above a garage and was perfect. The room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Everything was clean, organized, and comfortable. Had more than enough amenities, activities, and information of local places. The location had chairs on the water, a firepit with all the supplies, hammock, kayaks, etc... all the extra stuff you'd want at a camp. Great stay... highly recommend!

Great Getaway
The apartment was clean, well stocked and cozy. The river was very relaxing, also enjoyed the hammock in the gazebo. Our hosts were easy to connect with and were available. We enjoyed our stay!
