The location is super good.

This hotel does not live up to typical Thai friendliness and hospitality. Otherwise, a beautiful location, but the experience is ruined by rude, ignorant, and incompetent staff. Some examples: hotel sent pre-information regarding the shuttle boat service. We tried to follow the instructions and then called the hotel from the pier, only to find out that the information was incorrect. No apologies, no help provided, just blaming “automated message”. The beach restaurant is seriously under-staffed and incompetent. Wrong drinks, forgotten orders, up to 1.5 hrs waiting time for meals. At the breakfast the chief chef’s behavior was shockingly bad. The hotel would have more potential, but the staff ruins the experience. I would recommend avoiding, you will get better value for your money elsewhere in the island, where the staff really cares about its customers.

Staff tried hard to fix issues such as airconditioning that did not work and no hot water. They also gave us a 500 baht voucher as compensation. They did fix these issues quickly. Location is excellent and the bean bags on the beach are nice

We did not like the bad design of the grand deluxe suite and the other rooms in the new building. The front door and toilet/indoor shower is on the lower level (we booked 2 different room types both the same) every time you need to use the toilet you must go down a LOT of stairs then back up. Same to enter or leave the rooms. It is unsafe to negotiate these stairs in the dark but turning on the lights shines very bright into the bedroom waking anyone else in bed. This is a VERY bad design and super annoying at night trying to use a torch or phone to get to the toilet without falling on the stairs. The restaurant plays loud live music every night although the helpful staff did turn the volume down a bit when we complained. We paid over 6000 baht a night for this room because we have a young child and needed the space but it's not worth it. The outdoor shower never had hot water and is exposed to others watching you shower or use the bath so this area that looks good in photos is not useful.

There is a hole in the door mosquito could come in. The staff clean the room and left our door open with all our staff.

The room was good thanks to the booking.com free upgrad. Very few staff was handling such a huge property hence you would see that the work from management was at a very slow pace

Great set up right on the beautiful beach with easy access. We stayed with my mom who has dementia and the staff was so good to her. The food here was fantastic and they had the best beach hang spot and fire show. Definitely will stay here again!

Our room was in a building right next to the town road and some construction and it was super noisy in the early morning. If you're a morning person, no problem. If not, consider a room further from the street!

The room was clean, a great balcony and comfortable beds. Wide Asian breakfast selection. Nice entertainment on the beach by Thai singer.

It would have been good to know that it was a walk-up and that the bathroom was separated from the bedroom.

The hotel has a great location right on the beach and near lots of other restuarants. The facilities are nice and our room was really nice and clean.

For what we were paying it felt a bit over-priced and the breakfast wasn't good. Saying that though, most hotels on Samet are more expensive compared to other islands. I don't think we would have been pleased if we'd stayed for a week.

The rooms were drab, nothing like described and overpriced. Breakfast was not good at all. Almost no messages sent before arrival were responded to.
