The room we had was a corner room with a double balcony. The view over the river was great. The lobby and the rooftop were both beautiful. The building is a very classic/old style that has a lot of tile and color.
We enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas below us while we swam in the pool!
We would like to have a mini fridge in the room. However, they provided purified water in the area right outside of the room. There are also multiple stores very close by that sell cold drinks.

La ubicación es excelente, es un edificio antiguo pero bien conservado. Tiene una alberca en la terraza que te permite relajarte más. Tiene un bar con bebidas y muy ricas sus platillos en el restaurante muy delicioso

It was convenient for walking to downtown, restaurants and buses. The decor was definitely local culture.
The water was always lukewarm. There weren’t many amenities like coffee pot, microwave or fridge. For a tourist destination the staff were less than helpful, there were several nights where there was partying going on and the desk staff did not deal with it. Communication was often difficult.

Cleaning was very late in the day. The WIFI is awful (no wifi from inside the rooms). A lot of the time in common areas there was no soap, cleaning supplies etc. Was not a very comfortable stay.

My room wasn't cleaned all the days and had bugs, the bathroom is very small.

The rooftop bar had blaring music till early morning. The road noise was unbearable loud.

I want my money back! We didn't even stay there! Garbage in the halls, cockroaches in the room. Basic flophouse. No online pictures of the rooms for a good reason. No one would ever stay there.

The location is really good, next to the Cualle River. I liked the low price, it allowed me to spend more money on food, purchases and adventures. Fresh linens everyday was a treat. The pool area was wonderful, great view and comfortable seating. Beautiful old hotel with many flowers, lovely places to sit and relax. Nice resturant on 4th floor.
Bathroom needs updating. A small refridgerator would be nice. Water not always hot .
