The accessibility to the beach was unique, there was basically only one step to the beach. In this sense, you can easily configure your day around time on the beach with stops at the hotel, to rest or go to the toilet.

In this case the shower has no curtains, so basically there is water everywhere every time you finish showering, and it can be annoying because you then have to clean up and dry the mess. So, a waste of time and energy.

The hotel equipped as you'd expect a good 3 stars is equipped with: simple but nice furniture, tile floors, big bathroom with a shower and a cozy little balcony. The breakfast was excellent(way above 3* level) , fresh italian pastry, fruits and proper italian coffee. Which was way above expectations is the staff: everybody is kind and helpfull, I would name the receptionists, Antonio(thanks for the fresh ricotta! :)) and especially Sonia, both of them super friendly and tried their best to help out a bit lost foreigner. 100% recommended!

The location: only few meter from the beach and the free parking.

The room was small and not very comfortable. Breakfast was poor. The hotel description states that the hotel offers a restaurant serving regional cuisine, which is not true: as the staff told us, they don't have a restaurant. They served dinner to some workers staying at the hotel, but when we asked if we could get food they said no. (It was for sure not a misunderstanding because I speak italian very fluently) Wi-fi: to connect you have to create a profile and then make a call to an italian number to get a code, which at the end did not work anyway. They did not mentioned to us upon arrival how to connect to the Wi-Fi. There is no 24-hour front desk as per description. They closed the hotel door at 20:00. The staff was absent also during the day and not very professional or welcoming. We got a telephone number to contact them in case of need. We did not get the daily room cleaning: although it was not very important for us, it is something that you expect in a hotel. It was low season though, so maybe things are different during summer. If this is the case it would be nice to mentioned it in the hotel description. There are only 2 restaurants in Sampieri and they were both closed during our stay.

The hosts were wonderful! Lovely decor, easy access for a person with mobility issues, good air conditioning, a lovely balcony, and perfect location. They were also helpful to us re: getting to know the area.

The room didn't have a fridge (they said there were plans to get them for next season). A comfy chair in the room would also have been nice.
