1.we chose this facility because of the parking. Actualy we found out that there is no parking and we parked outside the city and then took a shuttle to the center, and then 10 minutes by foot 2. the air conditioner was not working, therefore we opened the window and couldn't sleep because it was noicy 3. the bathroom was outside the room, so we had to pass through the public coridor. Finaly, after the first night, we decided to leave and go to another hotel, but we still had to pay for 3 nights

Our host was extremely helpful and provided hot beverages and cakes in the morning which were unexpected. The room and separate bathroom were well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. Host provided a list of restaurants and showed us some places worth visiting on the map. He also kindly offered to post postcards we had written.

The sign is small for the building, so if like us after travelling by plane, bus and train to get there it may take you a few minutes to find the correct door to the B&B. No TV. This was fine for us though as we had a toddler and mostly used the room for naps and early bedtime.

Excellent hospitality, Giuseppe provided far more than expected. Super weekend!

The proprietor made homemade "mostards," sort if a cross between chutneys and marmalades, traditional condiment in Mantova, but ran the gamut from Apple and pear to arugula, beets and peperoncini. Plus homemade yogurt!
