Nice location.
High price for the value.
4.5
Su ubicación es excelente, se puede llegar caminando a la entrada al parque y está justo frente a la playa, además cuenta con una piscina con una muy agradable sombra.
Que no se ofrece desayuno, ni siquiera uno sencillo.
3.5
Very close to the beach. Parking outside and good size room. Swimming pool is nice addition to the hotel. Friendly staff.

Sehr schöne Anlage nur etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Etwas renovierungsbedüftig. Tolle Lage direkt am Strand und fussläufig in 15 Minuten zum Park Eingang.
Etwas renovierungsbeduftig.

Location Location Location
The hotel was under construction while we were there. We had a second floor room and they were working on the roof above our room banging and sawing from 8:30am to 2:30pm for the first 4 days of our stay until I complained about the noise. The manager said there would be no more construction while we were there only to have them start working again the next day. Unacceptable!

Muy cercano a la playa y del Parque Manuel Antonio.
Las habitaciones y la piscina son muchísimo más pequeñas que lo que se ven en las fotos. El televisor hace muchísima falta.

Location is awesome. Many monkeys in the trees. Beach is fantastic. The staff in the evening and night are terrific. Never dealt with morning staff.
It is a little older and no TV but no big deal.

La ubicación es excelente justo delante del mar y con salida del hotel a la playa. Está muy cerca andando del Parque de Manuel Antonio.
Tiene una piscina pequeña pero muy agradable.
Pudimos ver monos en el mismo hotel.

location, walkable to national park.
no coffee in the room
4.5
Great no-frills simple space. Kitchen had a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, full set of dishes and a sink. Get some coffee grounds, bread and an aguacate and make yourself brekky everyday! Pool was clean, rooms were cleaned daily and the beach is STEPS away.

Beach was great, pool was nice, location is great, staff is friendly. Monkeys are the star attraction :)
Beds are not very comfortable.
5.0
Right on the beach with a locked entrance to the hotel grounds. The pool area is very nice with plenty of lounging chairs and a shower to rinse off pool water or ocean water. Rooms are basic but large enough for a family of four. Staff is excellent and can book tours for you. We were able to use their shower after our check-out time. This was our 3rd stay and we will stay there again.
Everything is great!
3.5
proximity to beach and room was nice
bed a bit uncomfortable and grounds could have been better maintained

This was the best place I stayed in Costa Rica!
The location was perfect, just a few steps from a dream beach! The pool felt realy nice in the evening and the bar beside it has a really good breakfast. The bedthrooms were big and confortable with hot water.
15 minutes walking from the national park.
Everything was perfect!
3.0
The pool was nice. The location was very good...and the access to the beach is very good and that particular part of the beach is good...(good waves, good shadow)
They have a good restaurant right next to it. The price was fair.
Nothing can make me think this was an insecure place to stay...
Air conditioning wasn't working well, the room is too closed, hermetic, the windows don't open so you have to use the air conditioning ALWAYS. Our baby got a little sick from that, we would prefer to have the option to leave a window open, last night we had to sleep without the A/C and it became a oven!
There is no parking near so you have to carry your luggage all the way from the street while parked on the street...they didn't offer any help about it.
There is not enough spaces to put things handy, like night table.
The power outlets didn't work.
The staff is too noisy during the day (some people nap c'mon) and they don't have like a "don't disturb" hanger

Great location by beach, and walking to town and the National Park. All the staff were So helpful and kind, from front desk team, housekeeping, grounds/maintenance to their restaurant team too. Enjoyed the pool, beach/pool towel service, kitchenette, and appreciated the cleanliness. This was a return visit and we hope to come again. Thanks
No concerns. It was another wonderful stay.

Great location, walk from the hotel right into the beach. The staff is helpfull and friendly. Rooms got cleaned everyday. Its nearby the manual antonio park, but animals also come to the hotel. We saw some curious monkeys in the trees here, a coati snooping around when it was dark, different types of birds flying around, we loved it.
2.5
Beach access, friendly staff
Noisiest hotel I have ever been in. Neighbours talking? Seems like they are in your room, total absence of any sound isolation. Weird and loud sounds at night, coming from?? Seems like they want you to get up at 04.30am and leave the hotel at 05.00am....Breakfast facility limited to 5 tables... Don't expect to sit
3.5
Right in front of the beach and bus stop in front of the hotel.
Old facilities, could do better with some renovation, at least the roof because the monkeys can wake you up by jumping on the metal roof.
4.0
The location is perfect right next to the beach. Many other hotels are on the hill. Here you have the most direct access to the beach.
You can reach beach restaurants and shops in a 10 min. walk along the beach. The restaurant in the hotel is OK, but nothing special. No view from the restaurant.
The room just above the reception is special. From one window there is a view over the roof of the rest of the hotel. Every morning we could see the monkeys running around on the roof. In the distance the sea is visible.
From the pool we saw many monkeys and even a sloth.
There is a small kitchen with a stove and equipent, a toaster and a microwave.
Large and comfortable double bed.
It was impossible to make the room dark at night. Since there are many windows only with thin slat blinds there is far too much light from the reception area. We covered parts of the blinds with about 6 dark towels in order to get some sleep.
The window towards the roof has no blinds at all. So it is as well bright in the morning.
There is no air vent in the kitchen. So, if you cook it is hard to get the smell out since the windows can't be opened. So we had to open the door to air.
4.0
Location is marvellous.
Rooms are big, but the equipment is not good. The humidity in the room was very high, to high for the hotel. So, too much money for that kind of accommodation.
3.5
couldn’t be closer to the beach, which is ideal in Manuel Antonio as away from the beach it is very hilly/steep.
friendly & helpful staff
we saw plenty of monkeys & iguanas staying here. the monkeys are quite brave with humans so worth considering that if this would worry you
loud banging at night on the roof, we guessed it was from the monkeys, probably not much of an issue if you are on the ground floor
4.5
Location was perfect, right on the beach! Karen was so helpful at the front desk. She helped book our park tour and suggested an amazing restaurant for dinner. Our room was right on the beach. The restaurant had a happy hour and and delicious snacks.

The beds were not very comfortable
5.0
The location is fantastic. Right on a gorgeous beach. I do not think there are any other hotels in the area that do not require many steps, a bit of a hike, or even a shuttle trip to get to the beach.
We enjoyed it all. it is a basic hotel with attention paid to cleanliness, guest comfort, good communication. Of course, the monkeys are little thieves, but the staff forewarned us to protect our things.
3.0
Beach location.
For the location. It's a shame they do not improve the pool area.
Need lots of attention to maintenance.
3.5
Walk to the beach!
The student rooms were very small and in the basement. No coffee filters provided for coffee pot.
