Desde que llegas a recepción la atención es muy buena, te explican todo con detalle. Las habitaciones súper espaciosas, limpias, camas súper cómodas. Hay muchas amenidades, cafecito wifi. El desayuno es súper completo hay suficientes opciones Y realmente deliciosas. El personal súper amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte.

Tolles Hotel vom vorne bis hinten durchdacht. Wir wurden direkt von 2 niedlichen Hunden am Empfang begrüßt. Haben ein fantastisches Zimmer bekommen. Der Pool ist sehr schön gelegen und wir haben an 3 von 4 Tagen Affen aus dem Zimmer sehen können. Frühstück OK - Standard für Costa Rica Hotels. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Beautiful pools and grounds, had a lovely big patio/common area with seats to sit and have a drink while watching the jungle. Saw squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, and humming birds. Room was large and comfortable. Generous breakfast made to order with fresh fruit, coffee and juices.

Its difficult to go out walking, the road is not too safe for that. But, by car, is perfect.

we really loved it here. ended up extended our stay from 2 nights to 6. staff went above and beyond and were really helpful. breakfast was really good! we saw more wildlife here than we did at the national park! a sloth right outside our window, swams of monkeys and macaws! getting woken up by howler monkeys was kinda cool! the pool area was sooo relaxing and set in a lush rainforest. the owners had two dogs that stole our hearts! we will miss little yara and the puppy. highly recommend this place to anyone who’s staying in this area! great value for money!

the sink in the bathroom smelt pretty bad at times

The location and pool area were amazing. There is a great restaurant nearby from which you can order room service as well. Our room had views directly to the green areas next door; where we can watch monkeys. Breakfast was sufficient.

Large rooms with fantastic views over the jungle-like garden. Super friendly staff. Lovely to sit in the pool and actually observe sloths in the trees above! Enjoyed the breakfast too. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very nice and in good location with forest just outside our room where we saw monkeys toucans and scarlet macaw. The staff were excellent and helped us organise tours and transfers. The breakfast was good and served by staff who were always happy. The size of the room was really good and the little touches of coffee sugar and milk to make coffee was exceptional.

We were in room 9 which meant we had a restricted view of the forest due to the roof on the outside terrace. We chose this hotel so we could hopefully see the animals which we did but as not clear as other rooms. Also for us the furniture on the balcony was very uncomfortable we could see furniture on other balconies and it looked much better.

amazing stay, amazing helpful staff (and cutest dog), the pool was great and backed onto the jungle- we even saw lots of monkeys come in and bathe in the pool! our balcony looking over it all was very special too! highly recommend!

Beautiful, sophisticated boutique hotel that abuts lush vegetation. My favorite part was the extremely spacious room with beautiful floor to ceiling windows looking onto the jungle. Super spacious and well appointed--netflix, microwave, popcorn, coffee, huge shower with very hot water/good pressure. The pool area was also lovely and well landscaped. Staff was exceptional, efficient, and friendly. Breakfast was great too! Lots of opportunity to see the local wildlife on the grounds including Capuchin monkeys, Howler monkeys, and Macaws. But perhaps my favorite "local" wildlife was Yara the namesake pug on premise and a white cat that would greet me every night. This is a gem of a hotel with great value for the price and this was hands down the best place I stayed in during my entire trip!

closeness to the road but this was clear from the location.

Caleb at front desk made our stay very satisfied. He's quick to assist, always willing to help with a smile, and professional at the same time. Plaza Yara is lucky to have him as their employee. He was flexible and does his best to help us. From changing our room to a more desired one during check in, booking tickets, giving ideas for tours, giving up public transportation information, making sure our stay was comfortable, arranging a fabulous breakfast to take away when we checked out early.

Room need a bigger sink.

It is a lovely property. Beautifully desiged an decorated. The room is very big, actually an apartment euipped with a kitchen, fridge and ccokware. The windows face the forest. There is a nice breakfast

The only thing that was somewhat disturbing is the proximity to the road and hence it was slightly noisy.

the rooms are gigantic. the hotel is clean and looks very nice and artsy. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the breakfast is ok.

If we could we would give 12 points. Spacious Room and Bath, comfortable beds and the friendliest and most helpful staff. Highlight was our balcony looking into the garden/minijungle and the morning swim in the pools with squirrelmonkeys jumping around.

The rooms are very spacious. The view from the balcony is impressive. The staff is very friendly. Thanks Nelson and Caleb. You both are excellent host. Breakfast was very good.

Yara's facilities are unique and beautiful. We enjoyed the art gallery, the animals on property, and we really relied on the kindness and expertise of the staff. We stayed in three separate locations on our trip, but Yara was our favorite.

Great breakfast with view in the jungle/garden where I was able to see scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys, turtles and a variety of birds....great location.....I have seen more nature there than in my whole travel in costa rica...literally, you don't have to go to manuel antonio park if you stay there, as you will see more animals....
