staff very friendly and liked that it was off the beaten track. Food was good at a reasonable price. Room a good size and really comfy bed. Very peaceful.

Needs a little TLC. Could be fabulous but a little run down. Shower drain hole full of hair.

Very friendly and welcoming staff made us feel at home. Delicious Gambian food. It is very small, and we were staying there alone. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Large comfortable bed. A short walk from a nearly deserted beach.

Some written information about the area would’ve been helpful. There were very few mosquitoes, but nonetheless we would’ve appreciated a bed net that fits the bed.

We had a wonderful time at Mango Lodge and I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and, most important, everybody at the lodge was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you very much for helping us to enjoy Gambia from the very first moment. I would definitely recommend to spend a few days at Mango Lodge.

Everything was excellent but for faster internet I recommend to get a SIM card at the airport.

Good Location If you like to stay in a real place. Friendly staff, good food and wine.

The street side room was quite noisy

Set in authentic Ghanatown, Mango Lodge is a little haven of tranquility away from touristy areas yet close to the sites that you may wish to visit. The pool is relaxing, private, and the meals are beautiful - I highly recommend the ladyfish and shrimps in lime. The staff are wonderful, friendly and genuine. I would highly recommend. Rob was a consummate host and Helen facilitated easy payment.

There was at times noise from local dogs, and of course the daily calls to prayer but all part of the experience.

Very freindly staff and good breakfast! The lodge is located close to the beach. At Ghana Town beach is a very nice bar (Happy Beach Bar from Ali) with drinks, delicious food and hammock. My son loved this place :-) Sajo the Manger of Mango Lodge was very friendly and took care about everything. The small pool was good for the kids and the outside area in general very nice!
