Great Appt location, easy to reach from the Train station and very quiet Appt.

The Appt was not as clean as we would have liked for such a price/night. The bedding and bed linen were good. However, the bathroom was not great and efforts could be made in fixing the shower hanger. The kitchen is well-equipped but there is no water pot and the cutlery could be renewed. Overall, our stay was nice but the owners should check from time to time the appt and perform a thorough housecleaning.

Location is very priviledged. Within the old town, very near the main bridges and main cathedral. Great options for restaurants, bakeries and shopping. Very lose to the parking garage (which is rather expensive, but a good near option).

It was a little bit hard to find but they assisted us directly

The location was absolutely perfect for us to explore the Christmas markets. It is a gentle 7 min walk from the train station.

The check in process was slightly confusing for an English family but we figured it out eventually

The check-in process through the web page was rather tedious. The requirement to secure a deposit seems to be over the top and is certainly not a standard in the industry. Also, a few days before the arrival I got a message that my booking was cancelled. When I called the helpline the attendant was not able to help me whatsoever, said I’m not in their system and promised to relay the matter to someone else so that they would call me back. Of course, no one called. Only after I wrote them another message, I was told (one day before the arrival) that actually all is ok. And as other reviewers mentioned already, the operation of the code box was sketchy. Sometimes one had to enter it a couple of times before the door would open.

the location was perfect and within walking distance to all the attractions in the old city. the apartment was big and spacious, but note that there is only one bedroom (with one double bed and one single bed) and in the living room there is another single bed and a sofa bed

However, the room was extremely hot during summer and the portable air conditioning units did not work very well.

The flat is in a good location. It was not noisy. The flat is as shown in the pictures. It is spacious enough for 4 guests. The beds are alright.

The flat was not clean at arrival: two dishes had dry food leftovers and some glasses had only been given a rinse. As this things are supposed to be done by the leaving guests, I would bet that nobody checks afterwards that they are properly made. The toliet had stains from the previous users. Certain spots like door frames had not been cleaned for a long while, the same can be said of the floor behind the washing machine. The kitchen hood had weeks-old fat stains. The elavator was out of order, so having to climb to the 6th floor every day ruined our stay.

Great location and good size for 4. 6 would be a squeeze. Beds were comfortable.

Sofa was not particularly comfortable. Key code to open apartment door was temperamental.

The property was clean and a very nice size. The location was superb - right in the middle of the city.

The correspondence when signing up for the property was over-complicated. After paying for the property an additional 9.90 Euro fee was requested for the transaction (or something like that). These fees should just be rolled into the price. Then we apparently had to fill in forms for the police - which the link would not work, so we printed them out before arrival expecting to have to hand them over - but this never happened. Therefore the whole exercise was pointless and confusing. Oh, and a scammer came to our door asking for money for an inhaler for her baby because her bank card wasn't working - but she'd be right back with the money if I lent her some....when confronted she fled quite quickly.

The apartment is a real gem, located in downtown Strasburg. The view on the Vosges range and the steepled of the cathedral, a few other churches and a few beautiful rooftops is gorgeous! The apartment is clean, the kitchen well equipped, the beds comfortable.

Unfortunately (and that was the only downside), I never received the email containing the key-collection instructions. When I called the number mentioned in one of the emails, I was given the wrong key-code. I then called them again once at the doorstep and it took me four tries until the door opened. I had to go through the same process everytime I had to enter. Was it a glitch? While it wasn't too inconvenient, it was a bit scary the first time around, especially since the call center was closed that time of night (9:00pm).

Since the apartment was very clean and a lot of facilities (e.g. a washing machine and dishwasher) were present, it was relatively easy to have a comfortable stay. The top location combined with the relative low price enabled us to enjoy Strasbourg in a way we liked.

The apartment seemed very spacious on pictures, but was in fact based on the top floor of the building this meant that the biggest windows could not open all the way, the area was too low for some of my fellow travellers and that it became incredibly hot during warm weather despite of the presence of air conditioning. Also Cotoon requires to do an online check in in which many information had to be provided (such as the way of transport you used). I have serious doubt whether this was absolutely necessary
